Bulletproof Grunts

This mod makes the armor of alien soldiers more protective, similar to what was in Half-Life 1. Of course, in the workshop similar mod already exists (see credits), but it contains not only aliens. So I decided to make a version exclusively with them.

Compatible with Xenians Variety Pack

Not compatible with any mod who changing the grunt model!

1. After downloading, go to the mod folder.
2. Select one folder.
- If you have a standart alien soldier, go to "BG (Normal type)"
- If you have installed Xenians Variety Pack, go to "BG (Xenians Variety Pack support)"
3. Copy folder inside.
4. Paste it into "custom" folder (Black Mesa/bms/custom) and replace files (if necessary).
5. Done, the mod is installed.

The Xenians Variant Pack features alien soldiers who do not have a helmet. However, if you try to shoot at the top of them head, your bullets will still ricochet. I'm not very good at modeling, so I can't fix this. But you can assume that these guys have such strong foreheads that they don’t even need a helmet anymore.

If you don't like standart grunt's models, you can choose other types. There are two of them:
