The original panel of starter ships in the game is nice, but frankly not very varied. They're all fighter ships of average speed with 8 storage and no other capabilities.
This ship collection offers alternative early playstyles to mix things up a bit.

They don't need each other to work, but it's set up as a mod group so you get the button to subscribe to all of them if you wish.

Criteria :
- Can be bought at all with the budget you get for picking your ship when starting Career mode (duh).
- Has storage.
- Can move in at least 2 directions and turn (to avoid silly situations like getting stuck).
- Some way to progress through the game, not necessarily bounty hunting.
- Needs no mods. See here for my collection that allows mods.

Optional :
- Can move in all directions (strafing).
- Preferably decent enough to beat the ingame Model-L with normal AI (which is the highest).

See the last picture in any of the ship pages : at the start of your career when you are asked for what ship you want, click the little icon and choose 'Load custom Ship' then select the ship.
