Starter ship DCS v1.0

DCS, for Dual Cannons and Shields, shows a solid front to the enemy, at least until the shields run out. Its resistant, penetrating cannons add to its strength without distracting too much crew away from the shields. You should still put more people on the job and upgrade your reactor as soon as possible though.
Simplistic paint job for easier upgrades.
