Description
Another day, another port. This one never made it to a full release on Dom5. Melitta is a nation of little bee people who eat gold. One of their main mechanics is all the little bees require a queen to recruit, queens however require a male to be present. Without this infrastructure your forts will be quite useless.

"Melitta, the hive. Home of the Melit, bee-people. The Melit are ruled by their queens who're mother to all. The Melit eat and use gold in it's various forms. There three main people living within the lands of Melitta. Small Melit, large Bombos and solitary but powerful Plutos.

Long ago the Melitta were tasked with guarding the son of the Pantokrator. His mother had hidden her child from her murderous husband. As he grew the boy was trained by the Melidotes, teachers of heroes. When he matured he overthrew his father in a great rebellion. As the new Pantokrator he rewarded the Melit with abundance and prosperity. Their hives grew and their flower fields spread far and wide. Their flowers collect astron at night, astron is stardust. This stardust they can turn into liquid gold, their sustenance. It can also be turned into astral pearls because of it's celestial origin. The queens of the Melit grew powerful but were content.

When the new Pantokrator got his own children he became paranoid. He feared the Melitta would aid one of his children to overthrow him and repeat the cycle. He turned on the Melit and took away their fields. He send them to an entrance of the underworld. Here they were tasked to guard it, to keep the dead in and the living out. Saddened and angered the queens knew they could not face the Pantokrator and win. So they told their people to commit to their new task for now. As the Pantokrator has disappeared the queens feel they're free to once again have their fields to cover the world and build hives into every corner of it."

The nation has a bunch of events and heroes associated with it. Melidotes occasionally acquire heroes in training for free. Swamps and forests can attract great monsters and just maybe a group of heroic warriors will come to your aid. Lastly the nation has five regular and two multi heroes.

So... the Mitsubachi queens apparently can still spawn far too old to be of reliable use. Max Age 107, Current age 193 is a *BIT too much...*

Can I ask what are the requirements & event chance for the new meadows?

I generally aim for Greek or at least Balkan origins. I'll probably evolve the nation in the later ears to be a bit more generic Byzantine but still the EA version is specifically Greek.

When you said you wanted mythological basis/backing for any additions, does it specifically have to be greek bee-related myths, or are alternative bee myths acceptable for some things?

Activate Sturm's mod before mine, that should work.

Any idea when the ID conflict between Melitta and Sturm is fixed?

Can I ask when we can expect an update?

I have a feedback thread, you can post it there. That also easier to keep around than a Steam chatlog. Or find me on discord I guess, that also works.
