Description
This Mod includes (In order):

This is the 1080p 60 fps ver. I don't have a 1080p monitor to test, but in my 1440p monitor it worked just fine. If you happen to encounter a problem, please do let me know.
1440p 60 fps ver. :

4k 60 fps ver. :
httpsXD//driveXDgoogleXDcom/drive/folders/1mZjtpnFK348sFk9wRknCCnja188hgnm3
Just like in the 1440p version, steam gives me an error and refuses to let me upload the file (example in the last preview image) so you have to download it through there. Replace the XD with : and .

How to Install:
  • Navigate to SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop and open 3151957723.vpk using GFScape or VPKEdit (i use this one).
  • Right click on live2d folder then click extract folder, extract it wherever you like. Do the same for the ost folder.
  • Copy the content inside live2d folder, go to SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\media paste then click replace.
  • Do the same for the ost folder, but instead navigate to SteamApps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\sound\music\l4d2 paste and then click replace.
  • Open Left 4 Dead 2, press ` and type snd_rebuildaudiocache in the console and then wait for it to finish. When it finished, a console will appear again and type quit.
  • That's it. You now free to unsubscribe from this mod to free up some space in your storage if you wish.

In case you haven't seen it already, there is a discussion on the Comments Section of the BreakingFuse guide that covers that problem.

Resize and reduce the height of the video by 10 pixels. For example, if your .mp4 video is in 1080p, you have to convert it from 1920 x 1080 to 1920 x 1070. Vice versa for other resolutions (On a side note, I don't recommend upscaling or downscaling any videos using RAD, e.g, 1080p to 1440p). However, I find this to be quite inconsistent. Sometimes it works for some videos, sometimes it doesn't. I don't have any other solution to it, unfortunately.

And congrats! You did it! It makes me happy and smile to hear that you managed to do it. I'm happy as long as you're happy.

Thank you so much!!!!! It worked!!! I had friends who wanted have a custom live background for l4d2 and we didn't wanna bother u in making them every time we wanted a new one especially when they wanna constantly change:(ANN I know you'll be reading this >;C ).

Again, I express my gratitude for taking your time in teaching us!!! thank you so much!!!!

(One last questions tho)
Also how do you remove the pinkish color on the bottom?

Now you have the .mp4 of the live2d videos you want to use, you can immediately follow this guide by BreakingFuse . It's very detailed and easy to follow. If you encounter any problem during the process or the testing, you can head to the Comment Section at the bottom, and you most likely will find the solution there. However, I must add one thing: make sure your .bik file size doesn't get too big, otherwise your game will crash after you play a game. The size varies with your pc specs; 350MB is a good rule of thumb for this. My limit is around 500MB before crashing.

Anyway, you should be good if you follow the guide until the end. Thank you Pluto Projector for accompanying me while I write this. 10/10 song.

First of all, you need to own Wallpaper Engine on your Steam and have it installed. Second, you need to find the wallpaper video you want to use as your L4D2 background. Here's a step-by-step:
Open your Wallpaper Engine and select your chosen wallpaper/live2d vids. Click subscribe, and it will begin downloading the video. Once you're done, right click the wallpaper in Wallpaper Engine and click "Open in Explorer". Doing this will lead you to the source video file. If the source is in .mp4, awesome. If it's not, then you're in tough luck because this means there is no way to use this wallpaper. (Technically, you "can", but it will take you multiple Steam Discussions, Reddit posts, and hours. Trust me, I've tried doing that, and it's NOT worth it.)

Here's a Steam Discussion if you wish to learn more about it.

To be honest, it will be much easier for me to make one for you, but if you insist on doing it yourself and using your own hands, then... Here it is.
Zhamuel 12 May @ 8:25am
How do I extract the videos from there to here in l4d2? T_T

I want a specific l4d2 and I will use my own hands with your help! :)

I think I get what you meant. As for me, I didn't get or download those live2dvideos from YouTube. My main source of live2d for Blue Archive videos came from 吃枣 Workshop
Zhamuel 12 May @ 8:12am
Sorry I didn't clarify it, like downloading the videos themselves?

Like the main source not on steam. sorry for the confusion!
