(2) COOP - DUNGEON MASTER


Ranger Scouts have come across a hidden dungeon that leads to the Axis base, break in and discovery the secrets inside. Watch for traps.


Each player has 3 lives. When you die, you respawn at beginning of map. After each player dies 3 times, game over


NO HQ/Buildings. Players start with two Rangers each.


Map is all scripted (playbills). Tuning packs may/may not work. Not tested.


TEAM 1 - Player 1 and 2 must be either human or AI. AMERICAN.
TEAM 2 - Must be AI. GERMAN.


Double black doors can be blown open. Single dark green doors must be unlocked using key or completing missions. Blowing up red barrels destroys walls.


MISSION 1 - Enter dungeon (Grenade door), find key, unlock main door.
MISSION 2 - Destroy spawn locations.
MISSION 3 - Pass through the hallways of traps. Survive spike traps.
MISSION 4 - Travel through the drainage tunnels. Find your way through.
MISSION 5 - Find Rebels, free from prisons and escort to transport escape.
MISSION 6 - Explore and kill officers then barracks.
MISSION 7 - Survive bridge traps and wall crushers.
MISSION 8 - Minefield
MISSION 9 - Recruit all the rangers. Defeat guards.


MISSION 10 - Destroy AXIS HQ.

Drizz, its been awhile since I looked at this oldie but I will take a look, good chance on of the recent relic patches may have effected the scripting playbills... will test and update asap... thanks for leaving comment :)

Tried to play the map today with my friend. We got to the point where you have to "Travel the drain" We went in the drain, and got a bit annoyed that if you went in the wrong hole you had to run through the entire map again.

However, it seems the map did not progress after we exited. We killed some "Utility trucks" and came to a bridge, but the bridge was not possible to be crossed. :(

We gave up trying to finish the map at this point.

NumberOne, I just did some testing, I couldnt get that error/crash. :( Make sure you aren't using any tuning packs either.

NumberOne, thanks for posting. Are all player slots either Human or CPU (required). When did you get this error, in the beginning, or after a specific time in level? I'll do some digging, I'm thinking last relic patch may have tweaked something perhaps... (usually happens)

Update,

Fixed some intro playbills to simplify starting hopefully fix crash. tested and couldnt reproduce crash.

commissioner - fair enough thanks for the feedback. :) This was first time trying something like this, and comments very valuable. :) I spent so much time testing and "wonder if this can be done" that it seems I overlooked design in general. It was fun to make though.

Yah reason I only start with two troops is because of the traps. kill scripts wipe out entire unit group not just the one person, so it was more believable/easier to control when its 2 instead of 5 or whatever units per group. :)

I played it.
I used the files of my mod and sent an elite T-65 Power Armor squad to this task instead of the ragers so that they would destroy everything,
But unfortunately I didn't like what I saw,
huge boring empty spaces that need to be walked through for a long time and tediously,
almost complete absence of enemies at least in the beginning,
crooked traps that kill weight through the kill team, while I was watching the trap with a shypame, one of the two people in my unit moved away from his partner and was 4 meters from the trap and he instantly died and took his partner who was standing 6 meters away from him into the grave, from this scene I caught a slight cringe,
but I was not taken aback and continued,
whom I realized that I needed to go through the path again,
I just silently went to the toilet while these two idiots walked the whole path again to the place of their death,
