GOM - Instant Trading
Tired of having to wait hours for your fish to sell? Got a truckload full of Steel Ingots that would take forever to unload?
Want to head out to catch some more fish, or head back straight to the mines?

Fret no more!

With GOM - Instant Trading it's as quick and easy as pushing a button!

1.1 - Crab Update
Using in game prices for fish and crabs now!
Default Tax and Fees is 20% to compensate for the instant trade, since the fish gantry in game will only take 2 fish per second.

Also works with Ores and Ingots!
Fixed another error in case there's no "Sell Fish" hopper on the vehicle

-Type ?reload_scripts in game in order to update the script-
The game should prompt you to do this.

Fixed a bug triggering error messages when pushing unrelated buttons
Added currency formating and a more readable printout for details of sold fish and values

What does it do!?
Instantly sells your entire cargo (fish, ores and ingots) without having to wait for the slow vanilla unloading, for a 20% fee in worker wages and taxes.

Requirements
  • Start a new game and make sure to load the GOM Instant Trading addOn.
  • Place a single ore hopper on your vehicle, adjacent to your other hoppers / ore ducts and name it "Sell Fish" for FIsh, or "Sell Resource" for Ores and Ingots without the quotation marks, case sensitive.
  • Enter any seat on the vehicle, this will register the vehicle as a valid source to sell from.
  • Gather some resource of your choice.
  • Head to the nearest Quick Sell location (List below).
  • Move to the "Quick Sell" sign, should be easy to spot.
  • Click the button to sell your resources.

There will be a small fee deducted from your profits, to pay workers, taxes and fees.

  2. O'Neill Airport (next to the rail tracks)
  3. Trinite Train Shack in the Arctic

    3. Sawyer South Harbor
    4. Holt Town Dock
    5. Uran Wind Nuclear Plant
    6. FJ Warner Docks
    7. JSI Harbor
    8. Tajin Airstrip Docks
    Future Plans:
    Add Fuels to its functionality, since the transfer rate of liquids is aggravatingly slow ever since the compressible gasses update, this could make fuel trading attractive again. Currently you can only sell/buy at ~10l/s, which means you'll wait for 1 real life hour to sell ~35k liters.

Don't think it's that. Remade all locations and it's working with new games now, as of 1.1e.

Still strange, either the game discarded the locations when uploading the updated script or something else was amiss. Anyway, should be working now, heh.

possibly some silent changes they've made in preparation for the modding update coming out next week?

Quite odd, had remade all the locations, tested with the addOn editor preview working just fine. However with a new game with the addOn loaded and environment modifications in place, it doesn't spawn anything.
Not sure what's going on here...

Interesting. Just made a new save and they're indeed gone.

Looks like the game uploaded only the updated script to the workshop, ignoring the locations.
Since my savegame still had the locations spawned on the map I didn't notice them gone.
Not sure why the addOn editor saved the script only and ditched the locations.

Guess I'll need to remake all the locations...

Unless I'm a complete smooth-brain, which is possible, I cannot locate the Quick Sell locations at all. I have visited all of the locations listed above, and there is nothing. I've tried starting a new game with only QS enabled to eliminate conflicts, and still nothing.

Might add 1-2 updates to make the functionality future proof in case there will be more fish added. Weirdly enough there's an in game function that gives you all sorts of info on fish, but nothing for ores / ingots.
