Swedish Old Level Crossings

With all variations of each crossing (depending on if it is situated on an electric line or multiple tracks) the total count of variations comes to 112(!) crossings in this pack.

There are seven different eras of level crossings included in the pack and unless specified each era replaces all crossing available in the previous one. These are:

• 1900: The introduction of mechanical barries. These come in either national blue/yellow colour or red/white.
  
  
• 1920: Standardisation of crossbucks used in Sweden, with an orange cross and black and white-striped post.
  Here we have a simple crossbuck crossing (with our without a bell attached), gas-light crossing or mechanical.
  
  
• 1933: Crosses have now become yellow instead. Same types as 1920
  
  
• 1940: Another rebranding done, now all crossings are red/yellow. In addition to the same types as from 1920, there is now also two variants of electric-light crossings without barriers and a mechanical barrier crossing with electric lights.
  
  
• 1950: Introduction of the wooden barrier that is still in use today. These replace the mechanical crossings from 1940 but the rest of the crossings from that era remain.
  
  
• 1957: The new standardised electric crossing gets introduced, these are the ones that are used today. Crossbucks are no longer mounted on old rails but rather metal poles. These ones have a simple, half-barrier or full-barrier variant. Not included in this mod but what is introduced simultaneously are trackside level crossing signals used to warn drivers should the level crossing not close properly. • 1962: The last era in this mod, the crosses have now been swapped out from the old variant with the text Beware of Trains to now match the colour scheme from the pole. Same variants as the last era, only the last simple electric light crossing from 1940 is no longer available. This era is available until 1980, meaning that the modern variants made by Anton will overlap with these for about ten years. The early variant (with a single lamp) is available until 2000.

In addition to these level crossings, I have included an asset of a small catenary portal commonly used for simple crossings that farmers would use to access their fields that may have been cut off by the railway. This, and each era, can be viewed as pictures on this workshop page.
