Description
Chosen Of The Glass

Abstract
Introduces this author's tweaks to the Chosen, based on A Better Chosen's Prime Reaction Chosen change.

Overview
In this mod we introduce some changes to the Chosens to make them a bit more unique, and to make their Prime Reactions feel somewhat more balanced.
General changes:
The base line of this mod is A Better Chosen's tweaks. On top of that, the Chosen's prime reaction is enabled. Chosen's HP is buffed. In general, the author is not an expert in AI, so the prime reaction AI may be a bit busted. The general intention is that a flanked Chosen will move with its prime reaction. However, they will occasionally do aggressive actions against a mutual flanker. Regardless, even if the Chosen just runs away with prime reaction, a moving Chosen makes the fight much more interesting.

The Hunter
Tracking Shot's width is increased. In addition, using the required Hunter's Serial-mark mod, his Tracking Shot targets MULTIPLE squad members at once. This makes it very hard to evade, and eventually the reader might be forced to tank a hit. To compensate, the tracking shot's damage was nerfed a bit, and tracking shot now has a cooldown. These changes make the Hunter an extremely deadly opponent on large maps, like the story mission maps.

The Warlock
The Warlock's zombie supply is limited. Each Warlock tier can summon more zombies per summon, but the the summon ability was granted charges, so that the total number of summoned zombies is conserved accross tiers, which is twelve. Further, Spectral army was reduced to a one charge ability. Also,as per the required Mind Scorch deals damage, Mind Scorch WILL deal damage (duh). The Warlock is a moderate threat in all scenarios.

The Assassin
The Assassin's mobility has been increased (to 20), and it gets TRIPLED when she uses the melee attack. However, her Prime Reaction AI is the dumbest, and she will mostly run most of the time. Her sword damage also got nerfed. This makes the Assassin a tough opponent to defeat several times, for example in the stronghold. But on one-to-one fights during missions she's not as deadly.

Appearance Chance
Chosen's appearance chances will be lower than usual. They will not spawn every other mission, but the player might enjoy some breaks for them. Note that if playing with Covert Infiltration, then the Chosen's appearance chance on Infiltrations is not touched.

New Chosen Training
Chosen at tier 3 can now carry out "Specializaed Training", which grants each Chosen a unique set of abilities that's suited to their character:
Assassin: Bladestorm, Blurred (bonus defense vs far enemies), Cutthroat (bonus in melee vs organic), Hunters Instincts (bonus damage with the rifle vs flanked enemies)
Hunter: Close Combat Specialist (with the Pistol), Alpha Mike Foxtrot (+4 damage with the primary weapon), Sniper Elite (negates Sqaudsight penalties, might not be doing anything), Bullet Roulette (equips a random ammo every mission)
Warlock: Soul Mania (a psionic reaction attack vs nearby enemies), Fortress, Bastion (AOE Fortress), Flexible Steel (half of the shredded armor still reduces incoming damage). Also, if the Warlock used to have Shadowstep strength, then it will be replaced with Expected Risk - reaction attacks will only graze this unit.

Configuration
XComGame: Changes to the Tracking Shot damage, the changes to the Warlock's abilities. Buff Chosen HP configs.
XComGameData: Chosen appearance chances. Also includes some tweaks to Chosen strengths that can be enabled, if using certain other mods. See documentation within.
XComGameData_CharacterStats: Assassin's mobility.
XComGameData_SoldiersSkills: Enables the prime reaction, and some more edits related to base game configs.
XComGameData_WeaponData: Changes to the Assassin's sword damage.
XComAI: The changes to prime reaction AI of the Chosens. Requires knowledge (that even this author does not have).

Compatibility
It will not be compatible with over major overhauls to the Chosens. For example, the A Harder War's changes. Don't Move A Muscle will also not work -both mods edit the Tracking Shot ability. Don't Make A Sound - might or might not work, did not test. In general, the player needs to consider well any other Chosen-related mod when using this.
LW2 Perk Pack (or Classes and Perks) - can be used to add some more strengths to the Chosen.
Stormrider Class - can be used to add one more strength to the Chosen. See the documentation in the XComGameData config for instructions.

Required Mods
Required mods are required to create the desired experience.

Information for future dowloaders - issue from below was fixed

Well, thank you for the update, and I'm sorry that my mod doesn't seem to work. Unfortunately I don't really know how to go investigate this issue from the information you provided, and I don't have information about this being widespread yet.
So please, keep me posted, but I'm afraid that right now I still don't have enough to go on if I want to identify the issue.

[Part 2]
- I disabled your mod + Hunter Tracking Serial mod and I fought normally during the retaliation mission and there were no issues.
- I even thought that the mod that adds more missions types could be the issue, but coincidently I got the same new mission (defend your position or something) for the Chosen Hunter as the first time I noticed the problem... but that clears it.

I don't known if its your mod or a combination of mods that is causing the problem... I'm running 600+ mods atm.. but disabling it, solved this time.

I will restart a campaign again (without your mod), this time playing it for real... and if the "hanging and pass turns" doesn't happen anymore, I will report back again (but that will take some time).

Well, I was tired when I posted before and I think is best to make every detail crystal clear:

- I'm playing XCOM 2 WOTC on linux for the first time (although is the windows version through Proton)... so, not sure if will be any issue or not.
- The "hanging and pass turns" for the Chosen and Advent started only when I attack and do damage to the Chosen.
- This mod was the only new mod that affects the Chosen that I'm expertimenting for the first time.

Results of my test (God Bless "endbattle xcomwins true", so I could reach the retalation mission quickly)

I can't say I ever experienced something like that. I had occasional turns when the AI kind of soft locks (and the turn ends without the enemies doing anything) but it happened like, I don't know, 3 times during the entire campaign?
But let me know what you find out.

Well, I don't know if its this mod or not... but I'm facing a bug with the Chosen... after damaging them at their first appearance, they stop doing anything in their turns and consequently this also affects Advent turns.

It happened once with the Hunter, then I restart my campaign after add/removing a few mods and it happened again with the Warlock... and both occurrences happened with the Chosen.

Since this mod is the only mod related to the chosen... my guess is that's this mod... but I'm playing on linux (through proton) so, I'm might be wrong....

Guess I'm going to try and remove it and restart a new campaign to be sure. =/
