--- Overview ---
Altis has fallen to the Covenant, but for some reason they've not yet glassed the planet. Even more curiously, most of their orbital assets have moved out-system and several have already slipspace jumped away. UNSC Admiralty has decided that it's now or never on liberating the planet so an invasion force has been mustered.
Be wary, Captain, just because the Covenant have let their guard down in space doesn't mean the fight on the ground will be easy. Do everything you can to liberate the planet as quickly as possible.

--- OPTRE CHANGES ---

I've made several additions to the base KP Liberation experience that will help more fully immerse you in the Halo universe.

- You can both play as, and recruit, Spartan units.
- ODST drop teams can be called in using special "ELB-47 Strobe" throwable beacons.
- FOB Hunts have been replaced with Covenant Type-38 Tyrant installations that you must destroy.
- HALO Jumping has been replaced by SOEIV drop pod insertions.
- All the amazing vehicles and personal equipment made by the OPTRE team at Article 2.
- You and your soldiers are going to die...a LOT.
- If you want to learn more about the mission changes unique to OPTRE please check the KP Liberation tutorial menu while on the starting Corvette.

Note: I made several custom scripts to make some of this stuff work so if you notice anything not working please do leave a comment and let me know.

--- Classic KP Liberation Experience ---

- Experience a massive “Capture the Island” campaign involving a large range of different settlements across the entire area.
- Cooperate with up to 34 players, including a Commanding role, two fire-team squads, a medevac and a logistical support squad as well as AI recruits to fill the gaps.
- Purchase both infantry and vehicles (both ground and air) using three different types of physical resources; supplies, ammunition and fuel.
- Build the FOB of your dreams with an in-game "what you see is what you get" system.
- Play within an immersive engine that not only punishes you for civilian casualty but diversely reacts in turn.
- Combat aggressive and cunning hostile forces who react and adapt to your actions.
- Monitor and work alongside, or against, independent guerrilla forces.
- Learn that every window is a threat thanks to the custom urban combat AI.
- Accomplish meaningful secondary objectives that will benefit your progression.
- Never lose your progress with the built-in server-side save system.

Have you modified your mission at all from the workshop version?
Just tested the uploaded build and it worked properly.

So it seems like the SOEIV insertion is broken. It just drops you onto the spot you were standing.

So, one thing Ive noticed that I am unsure how to fix is, when you're hosting a server just for a solo play, I can Zeus things but as soon as I create a loadout or pick a loadout. My zeus cancels out, as well as I can't change anything/access the arsenal. Any fixes would be much appreciated.

You need to edit the file in the presets->opfor folder labelled "optre"
then you can edit the enemies to be whatever you want. (i'd not recommend Webknight's, as there are a few bugs with them, i'm trying to get a version together that uses that mod)

so how exactly does one change faction in this "config file". id rather use webknights Covenant or at least just Insurrectionists. what files should i be looking for

If you're looking for even more OPTRE/Halo flavor, this mission has also been ported to the OPTRE terrain "Madrigal"
