Description
Compatible with 1.9.*. LMA allows countries without secret police to assassinate, though they are bad at it.
Can be installed mid-game.
Compatible with VTM, load order doesn’t matter.
Affects everyone, AIs included.
Works for all languages.


1.8 Update: This mod used to scale assassination chance off of secret police institution level. That feature has been integrated in 1.8. This mod will still be up as it still allows countries without secret police to assassinate

1.6.2 Update: Compatibility with James's Authority for Political Interactions by 1230james. If that mod is loaded, LMA and API will work together.

I'm pretty sure without secret police they'd suck at it though? literally the first line of the description

...Because this mod makes secret police useless since it doesn't provide any better assassination chance.

The chance is the same for national guard, secret police or guaranteed liberties per level.

If this mod still made secret police stronger it would be improved.

I believe it's just the base game doing this, assassination chance now scales with home affairs level and doesn't care what home affairs you have as it's usually locked behind secret police.
So as said this mod is now really op

This mod no longer buffs the assassination rate, the number you saw is either basegame or it's modded by something else

I think since 1.8 this is quite overpowered now as assassinations still scale with home affairs so at level 5 guaranteed liberties you have like a 80% chance to assassinate.
