Mezzanine's Short Campaign Mod - Emperor Edition

Description
Mezzanine's Short Campaign Mod
Emperor Edition

Play any faction with streamlined victory conditions. Supports all DLCs and most mods.

Mezzanine's Short Campaign Mod is optimized to achive any victory type with any faction in 120 or less turns. By this time you have researched 90% of technologies and collected all 9 resources. Of course you can play much faster or slow paced campaign.

Typically around turn 120 you field the best armies, control 40 or more provinces, have plenty of income and winning the campaign then is easy but plain boring. Why not claim what's already yours: VICTORY!

Balacing of victory conditions: How much provinces you have to conquer, regions to convert or income to collect is dependent on your selected factions start setup.
Roughly you have to conquer 35 more provinces, convert 12 more regions or collect 24k more income then at turn 1.
If you are huge (Actavian's Rome), have many client states or allies (Lipidius' Rome), or the regions around you have already your culture (Armenia), start on an island (Iceni), etc. - these requirements are adapted.
Also for some factions all regions must be owned by you (Marcomanni), whereas other take you're client states and military allies regions into account (Parthia). Of course you no longer have to capture all 6 suggested provinces, some of which send you to the other side of the map...

Each of the victory types now is equally easy to achive.

NOTES
  • Supports all grand campaign and augustus campaign factions.
  • Supports all DLC factions
  • Gives the same achievements for completing a campaign as without this mod.
  • Uses 4 turns per year for grand campaign and augustus campaign.
  • You must start a new campaign for changes to take effect, your old save games are not affected.
  • Compatible with most mods, especially unit mods, overhaul mods etc.
  • Not compatible with Divide et Imperia (a DeI version is planned)
  • Not compatible with 2/4 turns per year mod and other mods that alter startpos.esf.

Enjoy and feel free to give feedback!

Ever make that divide et impera version? Every campaign basically becomes world conquest because you end up at war with factions who wont make peace with you so you need to conquer all their lands to secure that front.

@Xyza so why don't you make the mods?

Definitely appreciate the Om cover as the background.

Hello, could you please update your mod to work with the latest patch? Thank you

would be real nice if attila had this. In fact just removing survive this X turn limit will be good enough. Like in my hun game I already achieved all the short campaign objective (except raiding) before Attila is even 5 years old and ERE was almost dead (like 2~3 territory left).

okay i checked which factions worked etc., come to the conclusion that everything prior to 29 september 2014 works. but for some reason Massilia is the only faction missing in the grand campaign, doesnt even show up with long campaign conditions.

So in conclusion, my excuses for my earlier comment, but would be nice if that one faction got added too.

and maybe the ones from black sea colonies culture pack too, i think those don't work either cause that dlc got released after the latest update of the mod

PS: wasn't able to test Cimmeria, Pergamon and Colchis because i don't own the corresponding DLC

Is or could this mod be compatible with multiplayer campaigns?

Hey guys, thanks a lot for your interest in this mod. As I stopped playing the game, I have also stopped maintaining the mod a while ago. You can still play it with the initial factions and if someone wants to use it as a basis for further modding for short campaigns, he/she is wellcome to do so.
