Overview
This mod allows you to follow citizens and vehicles in first-person view (or POV), providing an enhanced free-camera mode.
This is an updated version of First Person Camera v2.2.0 by Asu.
What's new recently:
  • Add ACME Support:
    • Support storing the current FPS Camera's position when using ACME's camera position storage
    • Support the recall of the stored position while using FPSCamera
A big thank you to Algernon for crediting this mod in the description!

  • Add hotkeys for Walk-Through mode, follow mode, and info panel
    > For details, check the tooltips by hovering the cursor over these settings.
    > The original info panel setting has been changed to "Show info panel by default." You can toggle its visibility at any time using the hotkey, regardless of the current setting.

  • Add a message to the info panel about switching modes
  • Now when the info panel is hidden and there're additional messages (mode switching, type setting saving), the message will be displayed through a minimalist panel

  • Various bug fixes and minor feature updates, please refer to Change Notes for more information.

For users having camera stuck to the underground issue
From v3.1.3 on, there will be a very self-evident notification to help you fix the issue by clicking "Quick Fix" when the game is loaded.
If you don't have the notification but have this issue, just reset your settings.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING
  • Make sure you've read the FAQ and Known Issues.
  • All error or bug reports MUST include a link to your output log!
Check the FAQ for how to share them.
So that we can see what is actually going on for you, then we can fix your issues.
Without a log file, all we can do is make random guesses and that wastes everyone's time!
  • YOUR COMMENTS MAY BE IGNORED if you commented for an issue BUT DIDN'T EVEN INCLUDE THE LOG

Thanks for sharing your log file! However, I can't see the link; it seems to have been hidden.
Could you please use a different file-sharing service?

@Smokey
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the update! For now, you can use the arrow keys for precise movement and Ctrl+arrow for precise rotation. You can also try using ACME together, which also has fewer camera limitations. However, since this issue affects a limited number of users, it's unlikely to be fixed soon. Thanks for your feedback and understanding!

when selecting something with move it and entering first person mode, the move it object is unselected. this worked fine in older versions and made zooming in on small or obstructed movements with move it very handy. how can this functionality be restored?

This is my output log, highly appreciate it if you can have a look, thanks

This mod won't affect save files. I'm not sure why, unless you followed the "IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR COMMENTING". Thanks!

For some reason my savegame can't be loaded with this mod after the latest update. Does anyone know any possible reason?

Ok ty
Will  [author] 14 Jul @ 5:25pm
@BluePaintball Of course, just press "]" or disable "Show info panel by default"

Is there a way to hide the speed bar on top?
