Description
This mod contains some church assets based on a typical uk church.

I created this mod because I wanted a model of my local church to place in the game.

The game engine will place them in towns during era A.

The churches and asset parts are also available under the madhatter category (top hat) so that you can build your own.

I may very well add more if I need them.


Note: 24/03/2024 - Fixed bounding box issues and collision detection for some of the assets - grave stones and windows :)

Note: 26/03/2025 - I saw someone looking for an 'Anglican' church in this pack. The big church here is based on a st Johns church in uk. And the church the player was looking for was st Johns church Newcastle Sydney which was a bit flooky so I added it as an asset.

Right I've reverted it to the last know good version that was here for the best part of a year and re-added the anglican church as just an asset. This should solve your crash issue if its this mod that's causing it.

Thank you for this lovely mod and all your other work. Unfortunately since this mod was last updated I now get an assertion failure error which crashes the game.

Here is the error line:

The idea of the mod is great, but with the game making every 5-10th house a church, it doesn't really work as intended, and the bigger the cities get, the more ridiculous the amount of churches becomes. Since it's $100,000 to bulldoze each church, church purging can quickly become expensive. Perhaps add an option to disable the automatic placement?
