Scared of the spreading of Islamic extremism to the Muslim regions of the Soviet Union the chairman of the Union Leonid Brezhnev decided to intervene against the already ongoing Islamic uprising.

Because of this action, the Soviet Union became stuck inside a beartrap, bleeding out.

Communist:

-Afghan Mujahideen
