Description
Fight for survival in New Mombasa's Outskirts

After months of work I'm proud to release my most ambitious firefight mod yet! Outskirts Firefight takes place on a ported version of Halo 2's second mission: Outskirts and features 3 unique holdout areas for you to explore. Players will start in the courtyard and after completing a round the doors will open allowing you to progress to the next area. This repeats until you reach hotel Zanzibar. I've included over 15 random events that happen while you traverse the level in between rounds to keep the experience fresh and interesting. I've also added new, custom areas to make certain holdouts more unique and balanced. Floodfight also is fully functioning with the flood waves getting unique spawns up on the rooftops.

You can use the flashlight by pressing up on the d-pad.

- Ported Halo 2 level with 3 different areas to holdout in
- Recolored brute ranks
- Overhauled enemy elite ai (thanks to Byzantine)
- Flashlight (thanks to Pepper)
- Changing spawns for players based on holdout section
- Over 15 randomized events that happen during holdout transitions
- Restored magnum and smg for use

I just subscribed to the mod and i can't find where to play it? its not showing up in my modded missions for halo 3 odst firefight

Very fun! it reminds me a lot of crows nest from halo 3 in a way, lot of backtracking and tight hallways. the enemies spawning on the area transitions are a good touch too!

Banger Map, It hardly feels like a modded Map because of how good it is. It feels like it belongs in the Base Game

Please add spawns for 5+ players. Our fifth guy spawned in the 2nd stage of the map lol

Also, 2nd stage seems to get softlocked more often than the other 2, particularly when it's sentinels. I'm not sure if they're getting stuck somewhere behind the energy-gate to stage 3, or if they're getting stuck behind the buildings.

Still a great map though. I've barely touched Halo 4, so for me this is Spartan Ops.

For some strange reason, whenever I play the mod online with a friend, me (as the one starting / hosting the game) has their game speed seemingly set to a factor of x2. Everything in the game is faster; movement, enemies, game time, firing rates, etc. Is this intentional as a way to combat input lag from clients?

Already easily one of my favorite MCC mods as someone who plays way too much Firefight. The improved Elite AI is a ton of fun along with the general dynamic nature of the map!
