Stalk Harvesting + Throwables

In 1 collection by Furdabip
Base Game Enhancements
3 items
Description
Gives you the ability to harvest Stalks, Gobstalks, farm Ulsacs and break down Rusty equipment into Rust Powder.

Stalks will give you Stalk Strips which can be woven into Stalkweave and then further crafted into Bandages or Poultices. Gobstalks will now grow harvestable Gobs. These Gobs can be thrown like Junkstone or Ulsacs to splash an area with Oil, which spreads fire or can set up movement traps. Harvesting Gobstalks with a sword/spear will also give you Hardstalk. This wood-like material can be used with various crafting kits to create unique weapons, armor, and Torches, which can be thrown to ignite patches of Oil.

Harvesting & Farming:
- Harvest Stalks using a bladed weapon (or special auto-harvesting armor).
- Pick Gobs from Gobstalks.
- Plant new Gobstalks by throwing Gobs into an empty Hole.
- Harvest Gobstalks to get Hardstalk, a new material.
- Throw Ulsacs at empty dirt to plant their spiky seeds, which will grow and sprout more Ulsacs.

New Material
- Hardstalk is a new wood-like material that can be used to create unique weapons and armor.
- Longstalk, a staff with the reach of a Spear, but can attack diagonally.
- Stalk Stalks, a flail that lets you attack 2 targets.
- Stalkshot, a slingshot that doesn't need reloading.
- Harvestalker, an armor that automatically harvests Stalks as you walk through them.
- Two special weapons only craftable with crafting kits from Prominence's Weapon Specialists mod.

Break Down Rusty Equipment into Rust Powder
Rusty equipment can now be broken down into Rust Powder and Weapon Scraps. You can use Rust Powder to cause Itchy status on enemies to increase damage done to them. Weapon Scraps can be smelted into Ore by placing 4 of them into a furnace.

New Upgrade: Tool Expert
A new upgrade has been added to the Marksman, Melder and Dragoon classes that lets you throw Bandages, Poultices, Ulsalt and Gilg Extract, and even double their effects. This allows you to utilize your equipment for longer by giving it more use.

Bandoliers Now Hold Equipment
To allow Tool Experts more flexibility, Bandoliers now act as a bag you can place items into. Hold onto all those useful tools for use in the heat of combat!

Full Integration
Over 200 items from this mod have been added to base-game zones to fully integrate this mod into Kingsvein. Items have been given to enemies, too, and will change how their encounters play out.

This mod can be installed at any time and doesn't need a new save. Items in this mod, however, are geared towards early-to-mid game and might not be as beneficial to older save files.

You have just turned Bandoliers from the best equipment in the game to the best item in the game.
