Description
Alternate download[www.thesewall.com].

This mod component includes only the modern unit additions and changes from thecrazyscotsman's Omnibus mod. Designed primarily for those who cannot use the Omnibus due to conflicts.

Obviously incompatible with the Omnibus mod. Requires BNW.

New Units:
  • Replaced XCom Squad with Advanced Infantry
  • Replaced GDR with Apocalypse Class
    National Wonder unit, can carry 2 missiles
  • Added Assault Bots
  • Added Drone UAV
The following units now require Oil:
  • Carrier
  • Destroyer
  • Submarine
  • Rocket Artillery (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Modern Armor (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Helicopter Gunship (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Japanese Zero
  • Jet Fighter (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Stealth Bomber (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Helicopter Gunship (in addition to Aluminum)
  • Missile Cruiser
New Promotions:
  • CYBERNETICS: +1 Movement and +1 Sight. Can move after attacking.
  • ROBOTIC: Heals 10 HP per turn.
  • ADAPTIVE AI: 100% bonus XP earned.
  • VETERAN: Ignores enemy Zone of Control. Unit will Heal every turn, even if it performs an action. Unit will attempt to withdraw when faced with a melee attack (50). Requires Drill 3, Shock 3, Accuracy 3, Bombardment 3, or Scouting 3.
  • MOVE ALL TERRAIN: Can move over all terrain, including water and ocean.
  • LOW FUEL: Unit loses 10hp per turn outside of friendly territory.
  • MEDIC CARRIER: Heals adjacent units by 20hp per turn.
  • ANTI-GUN: +66% strength vs Gun infantry.
Miscellaneous Changes:
  • Nuclear Submarine now requires Uranium
  • Removed Bazooka
  • Updated Anti-Tank Gun, now has 1 range, highly specialized vs. Tanks
  • Balanced Gatling Gun and Machine Gun: now have 2 range, slightly reduced ranged strength, receive bonus vs. Gun infantry
  • Helicopter Gunship now can hover over water, loses HP when outside of friendly territory
  • Paratroopers no longer upgrade to XCom Squad
  • Marines now upgrade to Mechanized Infantry
  • Aircraft combat animations are sped up x2
  • Guided Missile strength increased to 100
  • Missile Cruisers now receive Indirect Fire promotion

the year's 2015 and my marines and infantry are still using thompsons and m1 garands i just wanna mod that adds mdoern camoflauged infantry with camoflauge

Also, it'd be great if you can either buff marines or nerf infantry. I wanna be classy and use marines instead of old looking infantry in the goddamn 20th century

helicopter loses health outside of friendliy territory....why? isn't it frail enough?
