Description
This is an animated version of Vic20's Octavio species mod. They breathe, they blink, they sway slightly. The portraits can be found in the humanoid species class.

This is NOT a standalone mod. It must be loaded after Octavio in the launcher.

Due to the limitations of the animation mesh used, only the normal and cyborg variations are present. The Rakatan and Grey variants, unfortunately, would have weird clipping issues.

Darn, understandable though, life do what it do, thanks for letting me know!

@DocHolliday: unfortunately I haven't played Stellaris in like a year or so, so I don't know what has changed with the script and my skills have probably gotten pretty rusty, so don't hold you breath.

@G_S_Palmer I have a way to update this mod. Would you like me to forward you the changes or should I post them?

Hey! I believe I fixed it! I used the original mod, because I've gotten so used to them NOT moving. But, yes, I managed to fix it by messing with the new "Portrait sets" folder. Now, while I am working on a Horatio mod, I suck at modding -- and this is the first time I've even looked at the portraits! Perhaps, if you're inclined, you could check it out and it might help to fix this mod? Perhaps you'd also be able to figure out how to apply the cyper-Horatio for those wanting that.

Cheers!

If that's the case, then I agree with you hoping that it won't be for too long before a fix is devised. Though this may be a low-priority one on Paradox's part in comparison to ironing out any "kinks" or bugs that DLC's and addons may have upon release.

An actual developer from Paradox.

Like, it was an official developer from Paradox? Or a modder who was working on his/her own solution to upload elsewhere?

It was in the Stellaris modding discord
