Description
Gods of War Restored gives you some of the benefits that were part of Rome2 prior to patch 15.

Major Update: Now works with almost all the factions!

The mod restores the experience bonus at the time of unit recruitment for all factions.

Formerly known as Temple of Mars Restored

Works post patch 16 and fully working with Black sea DLC factions.

Known bug: Mod does not affect Carthage. Will fix this bug very soon.

Roman:
Temple of Mars
All Heavy Infantry units including gladiator units

Hellenistic:
Temple of Ares
All Spear Units

Punic:
Temple of Astarte
All Units

Celtic:
Sanctuary of Epona
Sanctuary of Nodens
All Missile and Cavalry Units

Illyrian/Balkan: +
Sanctuary of Bendis
Sanctuary of Gebeleizis
Sanctuary of Zibelthiurdos
All Missile and Cavalry Units

Iberian:
Sanctuary of Epona
All Cavalry Units

Nomadic:
Sanctuary of Goitosyros
All Missile Units

German:
Sanctuary of Thunaraz
Sanctuary of Teiwaz
All Heavy Infantry and Missile Units

Eastern:
Temple of Great Fires
All Units

At 2nd and 3rd Level the temple will give +1 Experience bonus. At the 4th Level the Temple will give +2 Experience bonus to units at the time of recruitment.

The Maximum bonus you can get using this mod is +8 Experience if you have 4nos level 4 Temples (Mars/Ares/Epona etc.) in a region which has 4 cities!

All the other buff that the temple provides such as Morale buffs, cultural influence, slave income bonus, etc. have been left unchanged.

The mod has been tested to work with Patch 16 GC and EE.

Mod may not be compatible with any other mods that change building_effects_junctions table entries. You can try editing the load order in the mod manager (community mod manager; Look it up on TWC).

* Egypt does not get experience bonus but gets Weapons equipment (Bronze, Silver and Gold) bonus.

** Nomadic factions don't get cavalry experience buff because Sanctuary of Agin building tree has been removed post patch 15.

+ Ardiaei faction does not get any bonus because Sanctuary of Thana has been removed post patch 15.

As Sparta I'm not seeing the extra chevron when recruiting spear units and I have a temple of ares built. What mods does this conflict with?
