Monkey's Firearms Maintenance Redux

Description
Overhaul firearms with cleaning and repair mechanics!

Recent Changes
UI Fix thanks to community
FB41 Revamped compatibility

Why Use This Mod?
Use this mod for a more realistic weapon durability experience.
In essence, cleaning the inside of your gun should prevent any permanent durability loss, and your firearm can last through many shots when used as intended. However, neglecting to clean your gun will result in durability loss of internal parts, especially in rainy conditions (if clothes can get wet, why not weapons?).

Features
  • Guns have individual parts, depending on their class
  • Right click on a weapon -> Inspect Weapon Parts -> Opens up Weapon Maintenance Info panel
  • Individual parts can be disassembled and assembled
  • When firing a weapon, carbon starts building up, reducing the "Clean" stat for a random part
  • To clean parts: Disassemble -> Right Click -> Clean part (see recipes)
  • If you continue to shoot guns with a low clean value, the actual condition of the gun will decrease
  • Weapon part cleaning can be done via commonly fetched resources
  • Weapon part repairs can be done via metalworking
  • No screwdriver needed! Most guns are made to be disassembled using bare hands and a bullet.
  • Gunsmith trait allows you to repair parts to 100%, but having no gunsmith trait only allows you to repair parts to 50%

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with Arsenal+Brita (Partially), Firearms B41, VFE and Guns of 93.

Future improvements if the mod gains popularity!
  • Better 3D models
  • Better and distinct part icons
  • Having an actual disassembled item model instead of the original weapon model
  • Better compatibility with mods
  • Magazines

you are probably aren't working on this mod for a while now but, can you add support for the Stalker Weapons Pack add-on for VFE please? Tried those guns and it doesn't work

Would it be possible to add a magazine that gives the Gunsmith Trait? There's already a mod that does that with other traits and it'd be a nice rare find if enabled.

@The Watcher Brita's mod description specifically said not to use the mod with other gun mods lol

Can you please add 'Cleaning Liquid' as an alternative to soap in the cleaning recipes?

I dont seem to be able to actually repair gun parts, only clean them. Even tho I have the trait + all items necessary to do so the option to repair doesnt show up and using 'craft helper' to see the recipe also doesnt trigger the action. I had this problem both in SP and MP for months now. Is it something with settings or a incompatibility with some mod? weapons wise I only have Britas installed.

what if I run both Britas and VFE?

@Monkey
Mod requirements work the other way around.
You'd be better off putting a note in your description that you recommend people install "BasedFirearmsMaintenanceReduxFix" to run AFTER your mod.

Alternatively you're welcome to incorporate the fix directly into your mod. Just copy and paste the files and hit update.
Credit for the fix goes to Elkhunter. (not me)

Thanks @Telos. I don't have time to work on this so I'll add it as a required item in the workshop.
