Its cheap and simple and controlable. Redundant systems for saftey and reliability.

for space use - it's fantastic
the moon - it's a little under powered, and can do a light load
in atmo - it sucks

gotta appreciate that it was designed before planets were implemented.

2 work arounds:
- use angel fire / tier 3 or tier 4 thrusters
- add a filter and ejector to get rid of excess rocks

This has got to be the best little miner for startup on survival I have tried. Cheap, cheerful, great for selective mining. The only shortfall is relatively limited cargo space, but that is a very minor little thing, and hardly surprising in such a compact little design.

Its a wonder, I love it.
