[Obsolete] Refine Speed Equalizer

Description
2019.03.16 - released v2.0 - Same refine speed per kg on all ore, ingot output remains same.

On 1x hardcore for some time now and was thinking about ore balance. Even on 10x refine speed, ore types are inconsistent. I was constantly shoving my stone and iron in front just cause I knew it would clear more space faster.

** KEY FEATURE **
If my calculations are correct, based on current ore density, with this mod, a standard 1x refinery with no modules (4000L ore capacity), should process 4000L of - ANY ORE COMBINATION - in around 20 minutes, given it has power for the duration. So if your playtime is limited, and if you know the cargo capacity of your mining ship, you could use time spent versus cargo capacity, to figure out how many refineries you need to process x amount of ore in y amount of time.
**

I double checked all my math and ran a lot of survival tests on this in my different survival scenarios to make sure nothing was out of whack. This won't throw off any balance at all, simply because the output ingot quality would remain unchanged. I'm sure there could be density arguments and such, but the ore is already in weight form, so density would technically be accounted for correct?

I run multiple Arc furnace pretty early on nowadays anyway, so I think it should still be balanced.

Kudos to Keen for making the game so accessible to mod.

Let me know what you think.

v2.0 released.

- Updated to reflect latest game files.

Stone processing changes:
- Tweaked Stone processing in Survival Kit to use batches of 100 instead of batches of 500.
- Adjusted crafting speed per batch of Ingots to 1 second per 100 stone (from 2 seconds per 500 stone)

Before: 500 stone yields 7 Gravel, 15 Iron, 1.2 Nickel, and 2 Silicon.
After: 100 stone yields 1.4 Gravel, 3 Iron, 0.24 Nickel, and 0.4 Silicon.

Reasoning: Stone felt like it was processing too fast for how much you get out of it. On the other hand, a batch of 500 is kind of silly, so it will process by the 100 now, and it should still feel reasonable when starting out.

All testing was performed on 1x vanilla. Feedback welcome.

Thanks for the feedback. I might be playing some SE this weekend, so I'll give it some consideration. The main thing I'm concerned with is making sure it "feels" balanced out across the survival kit and basic tier refinery as well. I understand that this probably won't be perfect, but we'll see.

Hi. Just letting you know that I've been using this mod for 4 months and it made my SP much less grindy-waity. It always felt like having to both wait a long time and get a poor yield is too annoying and it should be one or another but not both.

I'd be happy to see this mod updated, but even if you aren't interested anymore, thanks for the great work :)

Marking this mod obsolete for now. This needs to be revisited and redone with the new survival update that went live today, and I haven't tested it enough yet.

v1.3.1 released
- Rebalancing again. After playtesting, I nerfed it too hard. A vanilla refinery with no modules, at 1x should process 1 full inventory of ore in about 20 minutes now.

v1.3.0 released.
- Updated to ensure compatibility with latest game files.
- Slowed all ore down a bit for balancing reasons, since we now have modules. The use of modules in addition to this mod is a little too fast imo. Looking forward to feedback on this one.

@Hank Tate, that is correct, output ratios are unchanged. That being said, this mod hasn't been updated in a while, so unless Keen changed the output numbers sometime in the last year (which I don't believe they have), then the ingot output quantity is still vanilla.

When I first created this, I was trying to make a way to make ore refining speed more consistent without breaking vanilla. I try to always put myself in the position of a vanilla 1x player that likes to play under pretty difficult starting conditions.

Thank you for the comment.

Updated to v1.2 -
Updated for compatibility with latest game files (i.e Ice) Removed 1 second construction components. It is 4 in vanilla now. There is probably another mod that can handle that. I also like the idea of keeping mods separate based on feature.

Thanks for the support guys. Sorry this one kind of sat dormant for a while.
