Description
ANGLO-SAXONS (ALFRED)
Unique Trait: Book of Pastoral Rule
Cities with a Shrine, Temple, or Monastery add 25% of the Science output from Specialists to your Palace (up to 50%). Science generated from the Palace contributes toward Social Policy progress.

Unique Unit: Huscarl
The Huscarl is the unique unit for the Anglo-Saxons under Alfred, replacing the Longswordsman. This unit is unlocked earlier and is weaker than the Longswordsman, although it takes slightly less time to train. During wartime, cities training Huscarls divert their Faith output toward it (doubling as Production). Huscarls gain a +33% Defensive bonus when adjacent to River or Coast, allowing it to resist attacks from the sea.

Unique Building: Shire Court
The Shire Court replaces the Constabulary for the Anglo-Saxons under Alfred. Like the Constabulary, the Shire Court is used to counter the effectiveness of enemy Spies operating in a city. In addition, the Shire Court offsets the Gold maintenance costs of Science and Faith Buildings during peacetime, while during wartime it offsets the Gold maintenance costs of Military Buildings instead (including Forges and Seaports). It is also unlocked earlier, at Civil Service. Build Shire Courts to support your scholarly and military endeavours as needed.

It didn't show up on mine either shame because The Anglo-Saxon Civ would have been interesting to have. Me personally i'd have picked Athelstan as the leader, as he drove the Vikings out of England completely and annilated a joint Viking and Scottish army at the very important battle of Brunanburh in 937, his military achivements outmatching his Grandfather Alfred. Another shout could have been Edgar who's reign was of peace and prosperity for England. I also hope that if I get to play as the Saxon's that Winchester is the capital city as it was since King Egbert first was proclaimed the first King of England in 827 till the very end of the Saxon era in the 11th Century.

I have BNW and Denmark also. It does not show on my mods list either. Your other civs do, however.
