Description


Welcome to Star Trek Module 7 - Fleet Support by Q-Tech. This mod contains a set of Star Trek drone ships. This mod requires WeaponCore and Animation Engine to function, so make sure you have both mods loaded in your world. They are listed as dependencies so they should load automatically but if there are issues it may help to add them manually to the mod list.

IMPORTANT: Update information for this mod can be found in the Change Notes tab.

Under no circumstances is this mod to be publicly re-uploaded by anyone for any reason! Many of the drone's weapon characteristics can be modified using the WeaponCore server config file.

The other modules can be found on my workshop or in the Star Trek Modules collection.



The description of each module in the collection can be found in the Star Trek Modules Guide. Please refer to the guide for information about each mod. Please do not post questions or complaints if you have not read the guide. If you have read the guide and your question / concern has not been addressed then feel free to post it in the comments section.



This mod contains the following blocks:
  • A Small Craft Launcher that launches a Danube Class Runabout, Delta Flyer or Peregrine Strike Fighter
  • A Fleet Support Beacon that will summon a Defiant, Galaxy, Intrepid, Prometheus or Sovereign Class Federation starship, a Klingon Bird of Prey, or a Romulan Warbird



It is possible to customise the damage values for many of the drones in this mod using the WeaponCore server configuration file. This file is automatically created when a world loads with WeaponCore in the mod list, and can be found at:



For convenience, clicking here[1drv.ms] will allow you to download a config snippet that can be inserted into the WeaponCore server configuration file. This config snippet contains overrides for the damage output of each weapon that can be customised. Each <AmmoOverride> section can be copied to the config file between the <AmmoOverrides></AmmoOverrides> tags. You can then change the weapon damage output values to suit your gameplay.

Note: Some weapons, such as the Disruptors used by the Klingon Bird of Prey and Romulan Warbird, use WeaponCore's EWAR system which is not open to change using the server config file.

@〘TDT〙goldenberg If you're in a single player game then set your view distance greater than 20km for the world. If you're running a server then set the sync distance to greater than 20km. That should clear up the issue.

hello the fleet support beacon will summon invisible fighters and i'm not able to shoot back

@Masterbuilder2.0 I've checked and the drones do still work. The only thing I can think of is that your server sync distance is set too low. As per the guide I recommend setting it to 20km. There's a thing that happens with WC if the projectile starts outside the server's sync distance where the projectile will not render. It will still be there, hence the noises you're hearing, but everything else will be invisible.

@Masterbuilder2.0 The fleet support ships aren't designed to work on planets, moons or in gravity. They'll probably just warp straight into the ground and disappear.
