Description
this was originally meant to be an improved flight model and has evolved into this

Adds dyanamic wind to air vehicles
Adds dynamic wind to all kinds of projectiles

includes wind cover from buildings and slopes
includes up and down drafts near slopes
includes wind hud showing direction wind is coming from while piloting(toggle)
includes dynamic wind direction and gusts
includes autorotation based on wind
includes settling with power in helicopters (turn off engine to cut power)

When I tried this mod with helicopters, the physics got very laggy and my velocity updated at about 0.5Hz. I don't mean display velocity, I mean your actual velocity only updates every two seconds and you completely lose control of your aircraft during that time. The slow update also meant that third person view gets shaky because it reacts to sudden accelerations in that way. Anyways, this mod is broken for me.

yes this is single player only. i have tried it multiplayer a couple times and havent made it multiplayer because of performace hits and locality issues that i didnt spend time figuring out.
i have modified the wind strength a couple times in the past to make it less strong. im wondering if it has to do with using a time modifier to adjust for running at different fps. i will add a option to scale wind strength in game.
as for running with other mods. i cant guarantee compatability. i did change stuff so that event handlers dont conflict with other mods/game scripts as much as possible. but if other mods such as the glider plane have custom classes they might be outside the range of objects that have wind applied to them.

Does this work with a glider plane from a mod? I don't see any updraft.
