it's that you had the wrong version installed and something somewhere didn't recognize that it should be updated. again, someone else had this problem before. glad it works again!
Well, i deleted Mod config pure mod so it can be reinstalled and now it saves the setting. Isaac modding feels really weird right now.
1. this mod isn't built for Repentance+. I never tested if it works there. and additionally this is one of the first mods I've made, so the code might be crappy
2. somebody else had a similar issue before. try deleting the mod folder of MCM in your mods folder and then running the game so it reinstalls. also try right clicking on Isaac on steam, going to Properties -> Installed Files -> click on Verify integrity of game files. try doing both and just one, in different orders, until it either works or it doesn't. either way let me know
