(SCP) Entity-096

Description


As you can probably guess, this mod adds SCP-096 from the SCP universe. With mechanics written to mirror how 096 would function in universe, your pawns too can also suffer the same fate of those who have viewed 096! Yipee!

A new event has been added along to announce 096's arrival onto the map to terrorize your colonists. You'd best be prepared for when it happens.

As for its mechanic for enraging, its quite similar in the SCP universe to how a human would make it go mad. Have fun trying to contain it!

Can now be held in a holding platform.



Vanilla Expanded Framework is REQUIRED

Should work with anything as it only adds a new animal and event…

As for the difficulty, 096's event is guaranteed to fire after Spoiler--> 120 days, or 2 years. That way, you'd have a reasonable amount of time to have a fighting chance.

This mod is intended for bigger colonies of around 20 armed pawns, if that doesn't fit your play style, feel free to edit its <baseHeatlhScale> in its race.xml file. There too you can edit its Spoiler --> <lineOfSightRadius> to decrease its difficulty.

If 096 were to be captured, its escape is dependent on Rimworld's code for escape intervals, not whether if a pawn sees it while in a holding platform.

IMPORTANT
There is currently an issue where if a blindfolded/blind pawn attacks 096, it will go manhunter on revenge. 096 will stay in manhunter until its killed or viewed by a pawn with capable sight to kick off its custom behavior to "overwrite" its manhunter revenge status.

I do think having a single unkillable one spawn only once is a lot better, since a killable 096 is weird, and I think it should only restart the event if the 096 is let free off the map or somehow removed. Having multiple 096's is super weird.

Add a config option to remove the garanteed spawn after 120 days please, replacing it with regular anomaly spawning.

Hello I tried generating the entity on the debug and it appeared as a wild animal. It tried to attack when I came to it but after downing it. It won't appear as an entity for anomaly. Just rescue and not contain. Is it intended that way?
