Companion Entity

Description
Customization for the new companion will be added in the future.

Tired of walking alone in the world of garry's mod but you don't want to spawn a npc to follow you, because they get stuck easily in anything, now you have a companion, done! now you have a entity that uses playermodels as your companion that follows you no matter where you go.

cvars:
companion_model <model> - combine by default
companion 0/1 spawn with you a companion when you don't have one
companion_front_dist 70 distance between the companion and you on the front
companion_right_dist 20 distance between the companion and you on the sides
companion_remove removes the companion if you already have it

screw it ima use the model manipulator on it and get the 1998 Godzilla as a companion

@Thephillips2020 have you putted a playermodel model directory? if you use an icompatible model, it'll won't work

couple o' suggestions, instead of looking directly at you when stopped, have it just wander around the walkable areas wherever nav meshed, more user friendly way to select a model for it(something like enhanced playermodel selector)? as well as non-console way to tinker with the cvars, ala utilities menu?

i like the the concept, it's fine but default position just being near your side in tight spaces without the intangibility toggle is pain. also annoying that he moves with your looking when stopped instead of being just one spot.

@Flosius you have to choose the playermodel that you want, copy it's directory to clipboard and then paste after the command companion_model <here>, then when you interact with the entity your model will be applied
