Description
Hello!

This mod introduces a capacity system for the Thunderbarge that restricts this monstrosity down to a single unit per Dwarf faction in most cases.

It does this by having the +1 capacity effect appear only once in the tech tree, in the "Heavy Armour Plating" tech.

There is a further +1 from the Karaz-a-Karak Airfield Landmark building, for the flavour and fun of the building, making it possible to have a total of 2 Thunderbarges per faction (as well as the Spirit of Grugni for Malakai of course).

Thats all this mod does, and will stop the AI building insane unbeatable Doomstacks.

Should work with most mods, as long as they do not affect Thunderbarges capacity in the main_units table.

This mod is also not made in mind for the fanmade "Thunderbarges Mk.2" mod so please be aware of that!

This is one of those mods that can be used with a save file but you want to start a new campaign for the best effect.


Think this is too restrictive? I have made an alternative mod that works like the Dread Saurian capacity system instead:

Speaking of Landship, you thin you would like to make a similar mod for that? Just limit it to 1. :-)

Ahh yeah, I just removed the whole building chain thing. In fact, I think I'll fire up PFM this weekend and see if I can remove the whole thing from the game if possible. Same with the Landship. lol. It's just too much for me. I do not like things that make the game bonkers or op. :-)

The update i just did removed the references to gyrocopters to be more mod friendly!

I also hope CA caps Thunderbarges, i love this new unit but i hate seeing them being spammed.

Yeah, went in with PFM and saw that. lol. I just deleted the lines and kept it as just 1 tops. :-) I think CA will balance this and grudges a lot in the coming weeks though. Hopefully!

Ahahahahah Do you mean "wh2_main_special_roflcopter" ? Thats what CA names the Karaz-a-Karak Airfield in the data tables.

I think in that case the task should just be changed for this mod.
