Description
ALiVE CoOp Mission originally made for RebsOldSkool server after ArmA2's story campaign, "Operation Echo Wave".

October 9th, 2009. Chernarus has exploded into civil war. With the backing of Russia and the support of the 454th Guards Motor-Rifle Regiment, the Chernorussian Movement of the Red Star the capitulated of nearly all of South Zagoria during an attack that became known as the "September Crisis". A small pocket of Chernurussian resistance remains in the Southeast, occupying Balota Airfield and Zelenogorsk where there is ongoing fighting. Interested in preserving Chernarus' democratic government, the United States has launched an amphibious assault by the 27th Marine Expeditionary Unit against the Chedaki insurgency.

Mission Features/Gameplay:
- 6 headless client slots
- 20 playable Blufor
- 3 hour day cycle
- Random weather system
- Unlimited player/vehicle respawns
- Capturable respawn camps
- Sorted ACE arsenals at respawn points
- All arsenal weapons/gear limited to CUP/CSW content for consistency
- Combined arms ALiVE war spanning across the entirety of Chernarus
- ALiVE CAS/Transport/Artillery Support for Blufor (only works for one side!)
- Civilian traffic
- Ambient war soundscape
- Increased player weapon sway and recoil/modified AI accuracy for more sustained/realistic firefights
- Script-controlled garbage collector
- PIR/ACE medical compatibility
- TFAR Compatibility
- Rebuilt FOB Manhattan
- Player hearing detection by AI reduced to be more realistic
- Unique player classes
- ACE survival, ballistics, etc.
- Virtual AI speed and combat adjusted to fit virtualized pace
- AI group recruitment stations at respawns/arsenals
- AI artillery & CAS

Players roles have unique benefits to aid team gameplay:
Team Leader - Can call ALiVE support
Medic/Corpsman - PIR, downed friendly indicators on, increased revive speed
Engineer - Can repair, is EOD
Machinegunner - 40% load stamina bonus
Scout - 20% stealth bonus

While this mission can be played without a server, having one to handle the performance load of ALiVE is highly advised. This mission is benchmarked for use on a server. @RebelSoldier bro you forgot that the laser with the army is made very crookedly that it is easier to open the sight to shoot and get in the head than to suffer with this crooked laser shooting with a laser in the army is even crazy, well it's fucking stupid and ACE is also a mod to put it mildly not the best and even just shit dog but the joke is that these are fucking server settings go into the game and check in navan that in the server settings it is fucking impossible to change the value and permission to use other cheats

@chornobrivecmaksim1 That's an ACE function lol. You can't use most optics or iron sights with NVG's because they physically obstruct bringing your rifle to your face and have a fixed focus. That's the entire point of having an IR laser, so you can still have an idea of where your rounds are going.

question and what the hell did you do so that when aiming the NVG was removed for what? to rape the player's eyes? why at night when aiming you can't see anything at all because the screen is just black
that's the question I'm silent there 50-10 m distance in close who can you see when the screen is black what the hell just what the hell spoils the impression of the mission you did a complete shit especially well I don't want to offend someone well well really you did a complete thing

I'm attempting to make my own scenario with ALIVE. I've got the basics down but I'm trying to have objectives pop up on the map like how you have in that 2nd picture anytime I load it up the map is blank with no markers or red/ blue squares. Could you help me out?

@Rebel I give it a try, and when I hit save server button it's looks like it saving, but when I start mission again, everything seems to be reset.

Do you know what is wrong?

@Insane I added a data module with the update last night check persistency on everything but CQB AI

Cherno and Elektro have virtual garrisons placed by myself and I also halved their spawn rate last update because I noticed the same issue. Without them the cities get bowled over fast in virtual combat and it doesn't give the player much opportunity for urban fighting. LMK how it goes performance-wise and if it's still pretty bad then I'll dial back the CQB AI in those locations.

@RebelSchutze So I manually added Save module, and it seems that everything is working.


I have another question - Sometimes in the city a squads are spawning like crazy. Often from both sides. Do you know why?

@Insane That's somethign I'd have to do on my end, I can re update sometime soon with a data module. However i have not done any troubleshooting nor have any experience with server-side ALiVE saving
