Vice is a symmetrical King of the hill (koth) map with an experimental layout and interactive environment that takes place in beautiful Miami. The Blu and the Red teams both fight over control of a huge pile of money. This will also take them in and around the nearby Seascape Hotel.

This just in!

Early this Summer morning, two bank trucks full of cash crashed in Miami beach spilling their contents everywhere. Both trucks just so happened to be related to money laundering schemes run by both Red and Blu. The area was quickly blocked off by the Miami police department with only the mercenaries left inside. Now both teams, under their Miami based facades duke it out to see who will become the rightful owner of this pile of cash. Even if that means fighting in the prestigious Seascape Hotel located near the crash





Environment
-------------------------------------
Vice features an interactive, detailed environment with a heavily tested, experimental layout that provides plenty of interesting angles and height variation for players to fight on. The detailing was carefully crafted to try and capture much of Miami's culture and history within TF2 and give the map that distinct Miami feel that can be hard to capture.

I did start an sfm port when I original uploaded the map, may be worth trying again yeah!

Can this get an SFM port? It has no HDR support and can't be recompiled since decompiling causes it to exceed the brush limit.

I think most of those might have been caused by the new update to the game as they tampered with some of the lighting shaders and there's a bug that makes it so players can join custom game servers when loading a map via the console or menu tab

I was playing this alone on a password protected server to check out the layout and a private profile with no name joined the other team and never left spawn. Also there's some errors with the lighting for the texture of the street. If you made more of the interiors outside enterable this would be an awesome Player Destruction map.

Hmm not sure if particles usually slow down the game this much but I can look into it. Glad you enjoy the map!

In the center particles slows down from 200 fps to 50, this ain't good but the map without it is pretty good and enjoyable
