Morphi is a mischievous shape-shifter who can take control of any opponent they comes across. They'll more than happy to help you in-battle to rack up damage on your foes. When summoned, Morphi will transform into their goo-form and will "possess" the first opponent they come into contact with.

You can rack up damage on the "morphed" opponent up to 40%. The player cannot be KO'd while under Morphi's control. However, there is an opportunity to get a killing blow on the final hit before Morphi is ejected from the player. Be sure to plan for it!

While a foe is under Morphi's control, their character's "spirit" will be free for them to control. As a spirit, they can move through structures freely and dash in 8-directions. In this state, Morphi will continually run away from the spirit character in an effort to stop them from taking their character back.

If the spirit player collides with Morphi, they can lower Morphi's health without harming their own, and eventually can take their character back if lowered to 0%. Which can lead to trouble...

Used effectively, Morphi can even be used to assist in starting combos and finishing KOs!
