Automated Cargo Pod ACP-HI-I

This blueprint makes use of items from the Heavy Industry DLC. This pod is also available in a vanilla version.


This ion-powered Automated Cargo Pod (ACP) is a basic, spacefaring cargo transporter. It is heavily based on the earlier released hydrogen powered ACP. This version has removed the hydrogen and replaced it with a dedicated ion thrusters extension. Powered by Keks' PAM script it can be set up for automated cargo ferrying between two stations. Manual operation is possible as well with the control seat on the side of the vessel.

The pod is pre-configured for two states: a flight state and a docked state. These states control thrusters, lighting and whether to lock or unlock the connector. States can be easily switched by PAM, or manually by pressing the corresponding toolbar button when within locking range between connectors. A spare programmable block and five spare timer blocks have been supplied to customize your pod experience to your liking, should you wish to do so.

Finally, for those that use Build Info, custom toolbar descriptions have been added that are specific to this pod.

Great care has been taken to make setting up your new pod as easy as possible. Please see this guide for instructions. Some of these should be considered required and some are optional, but recommended.

Please observe the following safety warnings:

• Rated for space use only. Planetary use will result in RUD (Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly).
  
• Warranty void on RUD.
  
• No oxygen tank on board. On long journeys, bring extra oxygen bottles and snacks.
  
• Pod is unarmed. Unarmed pods and pirates do not mix well.
