(4) SURVIVAL

Horde Mode. DEFEND THE BASE.

Dusty ruins. Vacated lands. We've begun building outpost. Enemy incoming...

Survive 3 rounds of attacks before final round.

Round 1 - Simple Peasants, squishy. Easy kills.
Round 2 - Infantry/Team Weapons. Halftracks circling base dropping off random troop types.
Round 3 - Light Vehicles/Team Weapons

Final Round - Everything... and a surprise.

All player slots must be filled on TEAM 1 - Human or AI. Be any Faction you want.

Leave TEAM 2 AI - It's heavily scripted/playbills. Leave German.

Tuning packs may work? Pop cap increased automatically to 200.

I'm experimenting with a bunch of new methods of scripts/playbills for this map.
Round 1 - Peasants are modified to run faster, ignore MG suppression, and have reduced HP.
Round 2 - German infantry spawns from Half Tracks. Type of troop is completely random for each vehicle.
Round 3 - Vehicles that spawn are completely random.
Final Round - Bit of everything. Then final boss, heavily modified Tiger. Stronger, Faster, Armored.

Purposely contained the building areas to limit bunker spam. Entire match should last about 20 minutes, longer if you don't kill half-tracks.

Please leave any comments/suggestions. Balance in these horde maps is very difficult to figure out, so anything much appreciated!

tricknology - I ran some more testing, and couldnt reproduce any crashes.

Make sure you have all team 1 slots either cpu or human. make sure team 2 is all cpu.

Dont use tuning packs.

Is it crashing at the start, or during the waves? If during, which wave?

Updates,

- Added another min to start of match. Now 2 minutes total before first attacks.
- Round 2 now waits 60 seconds to start (instead of 30 seconds)
- Round 3 now waits 60 seconds to start (instead of 30 seconds)
- Final round now waits 60 seconds to start (instead of 30 seconds)
- CAP points start neutral now.

Battlegroups - I disabled all of them last update as a quick fix. I'm going to be re-enabling them, but disabled some (like brit 17 pounder) as they make level too easy. Stay tuned...

FoolishViceroy - Thank you so much for suggestions, hard to balance these maps. :) I'll increase those times. I disabled BG as a quick fix. I am going to re-enable them, but remove some (like brit 17 pounder for example as its too powerful). Stay tuned!

It would be nice if the starting prep time were a bit longer. I feel like there's barely any time to lay down defenses and prepare for the onslaught. Barely any time between waves too. Also I wish Battlegroups weren't removed. I understand the rationale, but maybe specifically balancing the battlegroups so that it's not 'too' easy would be better.
