Description


(Non-canon) A group of races inspired by the Wilden and Volodni, these creatures from the Feywild have banded together for a new adventure in Toril.

Xenotypes:
  • Spudborn - Spudborn, also referred to as Lirkiin in the Dragon Language, are individuals with the body of a mortal, but the blood and soul of a Potato. Some believe that Spudborn appear on the world in times of great need by the command of the Gods; Wilden, however, know they are just dug up from the ground and set to work. Ill-suited for combat or intellectual pursuits, they excel at plants and cleaning.
  • Cnlloden - Cnlloden were a mushroom-like race from the Feywild. Cnlloden will eat almost anything, and are often used as frontline troops to protect the grove. While good at combat, they aren't very good at much else.
  • Llysiaur - The beautiful and alien Llysiaur, a race of plant-like people, excel at negotiating and social interaction. Thinking it beneath them, they will work very slowly at menial labor.
  • Gwernen - The Gwerneni were living trees. Slow moving, their sturdy frames and long lives provide an anchor for the ever-growing and changing groves.


Factions:
  • Wilden Grove - A tribal group of Wilden.


Requires Outland-Genetics, and Forgotten Realms - Biotech Edition is recommended. Wilden have been patched into several factions in addition to their own.

All Wilden reproduce solely via the "Parasitic Implant" gene, which requires a living pawn to host (and be destroyed by) the parasite.

Future Additions:
  • Add Wildspeaker psycast option.
  • Revisit reproduction to make more of a "reuse/recycle corpses"
  • Integrate Anomaly via ability to create "plant-infested" shamblers
  • Integration into a larger collection of other race mods I'm working on



A Rimworld of Magic
  • Wilden raids may include Llysiaur Druids.

Combat Extended
  • No idea if compatible.
  • I would not know how to make it compatible as I used the mod once and didn't care for it.

soon tm. this one will probably take longer as going to change the reproduction method and make the sprites for the cnollden and gwerneni less goofy.

Basic xenotype editor. But if I try to implant the gene onto another pawn or something it can throw the error as well.

Interesting, I didn't get that error in testing - they should be limited to just one body type, did you use character editor or something similar to try to change it?

Hello! I get an error with this mod with the following genes SAB_ShroomBody and SAB_SpudBody. It looks like it's happening because they're missing textures for other body types. Hugs log below!

@mad12fox - I do have more planned, but got busy! Plus some improvements to the five I've done already. Not sure when I'll get to it yet, but it's on my to-do list.

To ask, are you planning to make any more of these mods? Because I actually think they're pretty neat and I was expecting at some point you might make more.
