soon tm. this one will probably take longer as going to change the reproduction method and make the sprites for the cnollden and gwerneni less goofy.

Basic xenotype editor. But if I try to implant the gene onto another pawn or something it can throw the error as well.

Interesting, I didn't get that error in testing - they should be limited to just one body type, did you use character editor or something similar to try to change it?

Hello! I get an error with this mod with the following genes SAB_ShroomBody and SAB_SpudBody. It looks like it's happening because they're missing textures for other body types. Hugs log below!

I think it could work, there was a mod, the human hive, human hive queens, they could make a jelly that could be turned into fertile human eggs, I believe such a system could be repurposed

Also the anomaly idea is good, similar to something i had in mind for Botani if/when I do a warcraft series.

Yeah, having thought about it some more, i might be able to hijack eggs without c#. Basically, have workstation that lets you make a "seed" (renamed egg, basically) from a corpse and say... 20 potatoes or whatever, which will grow very slowly outside of a "planter" (renamed incubator), but much quicker inside the planter.

There's a number of different ideas, but I wanted to get this one out so I could stop working on it for a bit lol. It took longer than the other five I've done combined. Will add reproduction revisit to future plans.

Huh, I wonder if its possible for the you to create a ability for some of the xenotypes that allows them to create reanimate corpses as shamblers if Anomaly is detected, could allow some usage for corpse repurposing leading creedence to the lore of "Cycle of Life", based af circle of spores.

Also.. I think I may have seen a mod that does what you suggested with corpses... Might be mistaken tho, seems an amagalmation of mods in there

@Turtleshroom - most of the races I do are conversions from Humanoid Alien Race mods, with a bit of retheming. Will absolutely credit where credit is due :)

On reproduction, first thought was to have something similar to parasitic implant, but only on corpses - that didn't work at all the way I tried it. The general idea for wilden reproduction is that they reclaim/reuse other pawns, cycle of life, etc. I do have another idea I will try to work out in the future, but will probably need to learn c# to make any of them happen.

On additional dependencies, I try to avoid that if possible beyond outland-genetics as to avoid people having to add/use mods they weren't intending to use. Potato/Mushroom people having a "sapling child" doesn't seem right at all to me, and questionable on a plant person. Euglena framework would have the same "thematic" issue, plus it hasn't been updated to 1.5 yet - no idea if its one of those "just needs a label change" or if there are structural issues that need changed.

Why not make Phytokin a dependency? or use the euglena framework/euglena explanded - euglena xenotype.

These would certainly make more sense for the more root/plant based xenotypes in there

Sapling child is specific to VRE - Phytokin. I'd either have to recreate the functionality or make VRE - Phytokin a dependency.
