Built for Reforged Eden 2 (Beta)

Unlock Level: 25 (can be reduced to 20 if you change the warp drive)

Note that Reforged Eden 2 is still a Beta. As it continues to upgrade towards its release, this ship may get broken.

The Hydra is an Armor-Tanked Cruiser, that is able to destroy Imerat Destroyers at core 5 (You need to know what you are doing though). It is upgradeable up to Core 9 and comes with a hangar that should be sufficient for a single HV or SV. It is a slow boat, but it doesn't need to be fast to be effective. For an example fight against an Imerat Destroyer see the video in the post (there are some visual differences on the ship, but functionally its the same as in the video)

Note the Ship has 3 Bridges:
Do NOT use the Front bridge in combat! You will die.

The ship does have space for Hydroponics, but does not include room for plasma turbines (Its a combat vessel! Don't put plasma Turbines on combat vessels!). You could however sacrifice the farm for a single adv. Plasma turbine as an upgrade (Don't!)

The fixed Medium Missile Launchers can be changed for heavy missile launchers, if you remove the blocks directly in front and behind the launchers.

Color Schemes:
There are 4 color schemes in total. They can be found on LCDs in the ship, to apply them replace the current palette in the texture gun via C&p. Then change the light colors manually in the p-menu (it's not as bad as it sounds). Restart the game to have changes to thrusters and console light be correctly applied.

SGT Roc/K/ is right, armor blocks add to shield capacity in RE2.

Pretty sure Combat Steel and Hardened Steel blocks add to your shield rate, not sure by what amount.

in re2 advanced shields have 24k capacity how did you get 33k capacity without any extenders?

hey, yes the gen can be replaced with a small fusion generator. There should be an upgrade lcd for that.

Hi Ente. I've placed a few Gun Turrets (4, 30mm) )underneath to deal with ground targets, plus capacitors for the shields. Now sometimes I get Gen warnings. Is there a way to upgrade the generator or should I remove something?
