This mod lets you play as the Finnish president. The starting policies are an approximation of the current political situation in Finland. Some changes have been made because of artistic freedom. Note: requires both Social Engineering and Extremism DLCs.

Current features:
- 4 new policies: Alcohol Advertising Restrictions, Mandatory Swedish, Yle (Finnish Broadcasting Company) and Wolf Conservation
- Finnish flag
- Finnish names (402 male forenames, 433 female forenames and 197 surnames)
- 19 (in)famous quotes by Finnish politicians (in Finnish)
- Optional list of Finnish political parties. You have to manually replace the partynames.txt in data folder
- Somewhat accurate starting situation
- Adjusted voter group population to better reflect different voter groups in Finland
- Tweaked overrides (higher anti-social behaviour and petrol protest)

- more (in)famous quotes from our beloved politicians (maybe even in English some day)
- Country-specific events
Democracy 3 modding is not high on my priority list. I will do it when I feel like it. I will keep updating it and fixing any flaws I (or you) find.

Note: The reason why term length tick is not visible is because it is set to 6 years. If you want to use realistic term length then don't touch this parameter. I've been asked why the player is the president and not the prime minister. The reason is that even when the prime minister is the head of government, he is nominated by the president (and voted by the parliament). The citizens can't directly affect who is their prime minister, and this is the reason why I thought it is better that the player plays as the president.
