Description
This mod removes the research time and the required officer and makes everything available from the beginning on.
>> also enables the debug console.


I decided to let the costs for reputation like they were. Mainly for players who want to maintain a little bit more reality
Use Console to get Reputation if you need to:
Reputation X
X for the amount you need.

There are still associated costs to installation of the upgrades - just use console if you don't want to farm.

You have to start a new game to use this mod!
already created saves with this mod are not affected by its updates

If you're having problems with this mod, try to put it first, then last in your mod list. If theres still a problem another mod probably overrides it.

Für Spieler, die einen Rest Realismus beibehalten wollen, sind die Kosten für Forschung und Installation der Upgrades unverändert.
Nutzt einfach die Console um das benötigte Ansehen oder Geld hinzuzufügen:
Reputation X
Budget X
X durch benötigte Anzahl ersetzen.

Zum Aktivieren des Mods muss ein neuer Spielstand angelegt werden. Updates des Mods haben keinen Einfluss auf bestehende Spielstände.

Bei Problemen mit dem Mod, entweder an den Anfang oder ans Ende der Mod Liste packen. Wenns dann immer noch nicht funktioniert werden die Settings vermutlich von einem anderen Mod überschrieben

Living UBoat was the conflict. Don't know why as it doesn't say anything about touching the tech tree, but I've just gone through re-enabling all my mods one by one and that was the culprit.

Just so anyone else running across this problem sees this in the future.

@ Nepokadneza - yes, I tried first in the load order, as well as in the middle. I have the same result no matter when in the load order I put it. It works, but only for torpedoes.

I agree it sounds like the most likely thing would be a mod conflict. I suppose the only thing to do now would be to narrow down which one. When I find out I'll comment here so that it can be known

Just tested it and I can confirm it is still working. Not sure what you did here but on my device there's no issue with mod files from steam running on Patch 8.

@Crowdawg sounds like it gets overwritten by something else, have you tried putting it first in load order?
@TheFieldMarshal, in your case the mod is presumably not loaded at all.
Both of you, what happens when you activate this mod only? Start a new game, start date is irrelevant. When its still not working then, check your gamefiles or reinstall the game.

Lucky you, none of mine are free of research time, the required officer, nor is everything available from the beginning.

Even loading last in the load order, it only works for torpedoes, none of the other techs. All others retain the officer and time requirements. I don't have any other mods that would affect the HQ or tech system, at least as far as their descriptions indicate.
