Just so anyone else running across this problem sees this in the future.
I agree it sounds like the most likely thing would be a mod conflict. I suppose the only thing to do now would be to narrow down which one. When I find out I'll comment here so that it can be known
@Crowdawg sounds like it gets overwritten by something else, have you tried putting it first in load order?
@TheFieldMarshal, in your case the mod is presumably not loaded at all.
Both of you, what happens when you activate this mod only? Start a new game, start date is irrelevant. When its still not working then, check your gamefiles or reinstall the game.
I'm not sure at the moment if I want to include it, as the mods intention is to unlock all items for the ship and production of torpedoes etc. from the start. If recon and pans were included, the whole HQ part of the game would be useless.
Give me a few days, maybe I'll release another version with everything.
Im currently traveling and have no access to my pc. Will be back on the 18th, update will happen short after that.
But the mod should still work, it has Just not included the current Version in the ini and therefore throws the outdated error. But in general updates are not affecting the mod

Habs mir nach dem testen ja schon gedacht.
Schade das man nicht mal T1,T2 auf dem VIIB verbauen kann. Es geht wohl keiner und war auch nie gewollt.
- Fix: Improved description of improved conning towers research to specify that these conning towers are meant specifically for Type VIIC and Type VIIC/41. Previously, this description mentioned Type VII generally, but that wasn't true for Type VIIB.

Deine Mod ist ganz unten in der Liste. UND sie funktioniert.
Habe jetzt nicht jeden Spielstart getestet, konnte es aber etwas eingrenzen.
Wenn man U-96 "1941" startet geht es.
Wenn man U-47, U-48 "1939" startet geht es nicht.
Bei U-4x: Wenn man noch nichts erforscht hat, kann man z.B. nicht Funkraum oder Schnorchel auswählen und auch den Turm nicht. Hat man Funk, Schnorchel, Turm erforscht, geht Turm nach wie vor nicht.
Kann das an irgend einem Zeitwert liegen?
Oder gehen nicht mal die ersten Türme mit dem Typ7

Just bought the dlc and tested it. It works for me for all types with or without activated mod. Also for every type in a saved game which was created with activated mod and before buying the dlc as well as in a new created game with mod and dlc. There were no other mods active during the test.
I assume its probably caused by something else. Maybe some reskins you did or an other mod that is doing something with the boats or their upgrade system.
Maybe try to deactivate others mods one by one to eventually find the responsible one. And check if its working in Vanilla, if not it could also be your game that needs a reinstall.
@Sir Lance alot, not sure what exactly you mean. I can't find a mod with that name. Or is it an upgrade for your boat? Some options are not available for every type such as turrets.
mods I subbed to prior to switching to unstable appear, as well as new mods (granted I switch back to stable, then switch to unstable).
mod works now! Thank you for the mod :)
