What's this?
This is a vehicle referencing PLA ZTQ-15 (Type 15 light tank).
ZTZ-15 is a Chinese third generation light tank, operated by the PLA.
The export version of the tank is known as VT-5.

How is this working?
Super Accuracy Show

Specifications or Features :
  • Ultra main gun accuracy. Spread LESS THAN 1 BLOCK in 1 km.
  • Soft kill APS system. Auto deplying chaff when missile detected.
  • Great radar denoiser, radar-based fire control system, precise ballistic calculator.
  • Dual-axis stabilizer, laser rangefinder, manual turret control.
  • Crew: Gunner/driver and commander. Commander can intervene or take over driving. Commander can override the gunner to aim and fire.
  • Equipped with PYOs data link gen3. Supports waypoint planning and sharing, target point marking and sharing, and UAV command.
  • War thunder Style movement controlling.
  • Max forward and reverse Speed is around 100 Kph. Simulated performance. 6 auto gears.
  • 2000 liters diesel stock in hull and 650 liters additional behind the tail.
  • 360 degree free rotating turret. -8~+22 degrees range in vertical.
  • Auto loading Battle Cannon 86 shells. The 1st shell is HE for PVE and Infinite ammo checked. 85 AP shells for PVP.
  • XMLed machine gun for gunner. Reloadable.
  • Remote Weapon Station featuring a machine gun and a light auto cannon. Reloadable.
  • Light armoured.
  • Extinguisher system.
How to play?
Step by step.
Turn on "SYS" switch to start engine, and enjoy Warthunder style movement controlling.
Commander can drive when 'Driver add' or 'Driver ovr' turned on.


Press "5" key to turn the Radar on. Arrow keys to turn turret. "4"key to turn slower and gain more radar accuracy.
Press "1" key to lock and unlock. Arrow keys to turn turret and "1" key to lock whatever you want to.
Tap the upper and lower half of scope screen can zoom in and out scope.
When locking at a target, arrow keys to offset position aiming.
When radar is off, you can press "1" key to rangefinder. Drop will be calculated automatically.


Press "2" key to switch weapon and "space" key to fire weapon. Drop and lead is automatic calculated.
Press "6" key to turn Stabilizer on.


This vehicle can detect incoming missiles when commander radar on. And able to launch chaff to jam missile automatically.
Missile detector's fov is around 54 degrees in horizonal and 36 in verticle, same direction with commander sight.

This vehicle is able to link to other vehicles which has same Tactical Data Link System.
With the same Radio Key set, Friendly vehicle will be marked on your scope and map monitor.
The target you are locked on (which is marked in red color on map monitor ) will be shared to other friendly vehicles.
You can aim at shared target by turn on "GPS" button on commander sight monitor. Shared target is marked in red on map monitor.


When OVR turned on and aiming at a mark or radar target, commander can override gunner's aiming and fire.

Key binding:
  1. Lock = Lock the target point at when Radar ON . Laser rangefinder when Radar Off.(Gunner Only)
  2. Zoom Out = Zoom Out the sight camera
  3. Zoom In = Zoom In the sight camera
  4. Slow Aim = Slow the manual aiming speed and improves radar positioning accuracy (at the cost of response speed).
  5. Radar = Switch the Radar to on or off.
  6. Stab = Switch the Stabilizer to on or off.

Tips:
  • Use 'Slow Aim' to shoot static targets for better accuracy.
  • Better to wait gun status turn to 'Ready' and then fire the gun.
  • Using the lighting control system to turn off all lights can prevent being seen at night.
  • Press "Extinguisher" button to have a shower. It really helps when you are on fire.
  • Gently knocking down trees with the frontal armor will cause only minor scratches at most.
  • Swtich to Pole camera/3rd person view camera for better 1st person view driving experience.



Known Issue
  1. Yes,this tank is big. About 150% bigger than real one.
  2. Radar lock lost when turning turret fast.
  3. Current radar setting can't locate targets that are very close together clearly. This may lead to unstable radar locking.

No, it has a seat for driver+gunner and another for commander.
You can drive the tank when you on commander seat while 'drive override ' is on.

How about to aim at the target which shared by the scout ?
I understand what you are looking for, but it need some more code work.

Would it be possible to have that data link allow one tank crew to override friendly vehicle turrets? Like in a scenario. One tank scouting sees the enemy, the other friendlies are on the other side of a broad hill. Their guns can hit the enemy but the gunsight cant see it. Could the scouting tank send its ranging data along with position data to the other tanks to control their guns to target and hit the enemy? Or at least give them on their gunsight a radar box to lock through the hill?

I have fixed a wind calculate mistake in FCS. Now it works well.
