Description
This mod brings Roman heavy triarii in the battlefield. They are a strong unit and replace triarii upgrade so now Rome will have a heavy spear unit in the later game. Born to defend and good attackers as well. There aren't many things that can get thru the wall formed by these men. Not quite the 300 but immortals will be put to the test ;)

The spear disappears in combat animation sometimes, can you please fix this bug?
Kinda sucks having a cool screen shot till you notice hes killing someone with nothing.

Thanks. I hated losing my triarii when I "upgraded" & having them replaced with crappier spears. I do agree with georgebullen about the bonus vs large, but overall a great ( & necessary) unit.

Never mind I figured it out I am a BIG DUMMY ha. I didn't know there was a mod manager on the launcher i thought all mods were automatically activated when downloaded my bad! These units are amazing! Thanks so much to the author and the others who were kind enough to help me try to figure this issue out with me! i give this mod a rating of 10 cheese burgers out of 5 lions!

It's kind of broken that they have no population class. You can recruit as many as you want in any area with Roman Barracks.

Heavy triarii is the last upgrade for spear inf. So just like bearhiderug said, this unit is building locked. If the unit shows up in custom battle, it should be working just fine. Unfortunately it's been so long that I can't remember does this unit require max lvl cohort or aux barracks. Apologies for that.

This unit isn't showing up in current campaign. Do I need to start a new one for it to work?

This mod is awesome but is there a reason they don't have a Cavalry bonus and why the short pike phalanx doesn't work? They're an awesome unit and could be even better with that
