Description
Situation
Moscow changed its tune: from denying all allegations regarding the invasion of South Zagoria, they switched over to calling it an "illegal operation by rouge elements". But according to our intelligence reports, that's an elaborate ruse: they deny all involvement in the ongoing war and argue that they cannot stop the aggression, yet they keep on secretly supporting the so-called rouge general and his underlings.
However, this allowed us to declare all Russian army personnel inside Chernarus members of a terrorist organization, as well as restart our weapon shipments, intelligence sharing, and air support against hardened targets. Thus, NAPA and CDF forces managed to gain the upper hand and are about to push the aggressor back behind the border.


Mission
We have to take out Colonel Malyukov, the so-called "rouge general" acting without orders from Moscow. Because once he is out of the picture, the Kremlin has no more hand to play but to stop reinforcing their presence inside Chernarus.

Besides neutralizing the HVT (Codename: Jester), we also have to retrieve the "Cobalt Dossier" - a collection of files ranging from the planning stage of the invasion up to the names of involved commanders.

this mission is not meant to be played with any other mods like ACE, AI mods, etc. Use those at your own risk

Beautiful campaign for me point of view (i was play on SP) because there are good mission and nice ambient and history and enemies number is balanced (there are a few exceptions). Thank you very much ! :steamhappy:

loved this campaign zahl, i have never played Arma 2 so this was a good intro into how it was and playing missions recreating its feel in Arma 3

Mission is guaranteed to bug every time because the HVT is in a car. The car is locked. You cannot eject him or his body from the car to examine it. The link to the debug laptop is broken. Just don't put the HVT in a car...

Yeah, sorry for that, Ill make it a bit more transparent from now on but hosting the mission on a real server might break some things as its really just an afterthough to the whole mission itself

How are you hosting the mission? Local coop or via a "real" server? Because the latter might break some things, sadly

Because the convoy itself is tied to the (whole) player squad entering the escape car as far as I remember

Hello! No, we murdered both officers without agroing any AI. Only close to the escape car did we have anyone after us.

that's weird. did anything else happen, e.g. did the major drive off in his car and trigger the, uh, "bad ending"?
thats the only reason I can think of nothing happening tbh
