Automobiles Won't Destroy Your Railways Anymore

A simple tweak of pop needs for free movement and communication, so your well-functioning railway system and income balance won't be detroyed anymore when the first automobile appears in your market (especially when you play as a large country and have a lot of railways).


1. By vanilla rules automobiles can fulfill up to 100% of the needs for free movement, now it can only fulfill up to 50%. So the rest 50% can only be fulfilled by transportation, which is mostly produced by railway.

So now the 700 millions people in the late game Qing won't just suddenly decide that they rather stay home forever if they didn't have a car than take a public transportation.

2. By vanilla rules telephones can fulfill up to 100% of the needs for communication, now it can only fulfill up to 50%. So the rest 50% can only be fulfilled by transportation, which is mostly produced by railway.

Home office maybe wasn't so popular 100 years ago and people needed to go out and meet in real life, probably.
