    TIP: to make it easy, create a new folder there, move the original into the folder.
    • l4d2_background01.bik
    • l4d2_background02.bik
    • l4d2_background03.bik
    • l4d2_background04.bik
    • l4d2_background05.bik

  7. Edit autoexec.cfg file, in Windows right click then open with Notepad or anything your text editor

    INFO: The autoexec.cfg file, serves to execute the commands written, this file is executed the first time the game is loaded, this is just like you open the console in L4D2 and then write some commands, only this makes it easier.

    Preview autoexec.cfg:
    1 //// This file will be executed when the game loads //// 2 3 // ex: alias load_fonts "mat_setvideomode WIDTH HEIGHT 0; mat_setvideomode WIDTH HEIGHT 1" load_fonts; 4 5 // define the font to be loaded at a resolution 6 alias load_fonts "mat_setvideomode 1366 768 0; mat_setvideomode 1366 768 1"; 7 8 // execute the load font command as well as set the resolution, according to the definition above 9 load_fonts; 10 11 // other codes...
    In line 6 replace 1366 768 with the resolution of the Left 4 Dead 2 game you usually play, then save

  1. Does this mod add custom vscript code?
    No, this mod does not add any custom vscript code.

  2. Can this mod play on multiplayer?
    Yes of course, except for PVP experience in official server.

  3. Why is this mod not playable official server in PVP mode?
    (Versus, Realism Versus, Versus Survival, Scavenge)
    As far as I know, Valve decided to disable mods for game experiences such as, Versus, Versus Realism, Versus Survival, Scavenge, why? so that the PVP game feels more fair.

  4. Does this mod change the gameplay or something?
    This mod only changes the UI, changing the visual appearance of how game information is presented or displayed to the user, no changes to the backend code or so on.

Hello, sorry, I can't see the image you shared, but it sounds like clientscheme.
Try this:
- Make sure BF2042 Color Scheme doesn't conflict with other mods.
- Make sure the autoexec.cfg file is installed correctly (this file is in the description link, complete with font files).

- Finally, move all BF2042 mod files out of the ../workshop folder.

from -> ../addons/workshop
to -> ../addons

hope this helps, tell me if there are still problem
