This mod is to balance the experience of another mod from me, Aging with Years. But you can also use it solely to make the game a little easier.

Aging with Years will make citizens age only one year older in a game year, instead of four years older

When the population is greater than fifty, for most occupations, citizens will die accidentally with small probabilities. This will trigger once a year. With this mod, the check of occupation random death will only be triggered once every four years, instead of every year.


The modified configuration file is
zipConfig/Race.xml

If you have other mods which also modify this file, it’s very likely that they will conflict. I wish I could only upload the fields I want to modify rather than the whole file, but that’s not supported by the game. In that case, you have to combine the modified fields together into one file manually.
