Description
-- Updated for Patch 5.0 --


Optional submod for my More_variants_dwarfs Mod :

- this Mod makes changes/additions to following DB-Tables:
--- land_units_tables
--- variants_tables

- you only need this if u want to change the animations of the listed Units

- you need to be subscribed to @moz_more_variants_dwarfs to get the models

- uses the vanilla stats for all edited Units / db-Tables



Animations changed :

- Dwarf Warriors Axe and Shield ---> custom idle and combat_idle/ready animation_low

- Dwarf Longbeards Axe and Shield ---> custom idle and combat_idle/ready animation_medium

- Dwarf Ironbreakers ---> custom idle and combat_idle/ready animation_full

- Dwarf Thunderers ---> Malakais reload animation + custom combat_idle/ready animation in melee

.. more to come eventually ..


Added variants :

- Miners and Miners with Blastingcharges are now visually distinct
--- adds blastingcharge Backpacks
--- adds extra headvariants with blastprotection

Yes if somebody sits down and creates a .pack file based on this and does the work for Chaos Dwarves properly, test it and releases it as a mod. Of course it's possible; just don't underestimate the amount of work / the number of tables/fields to edit even for the simplest of tasks; this is a very large game!

Give it a try for a handful of units using RFPM from GitHub and your own .pack file (you can start by opening this one). Maybe you'll end up becoming a modder yourself :)

I didn't check closely on battle animations using this together with Reloading Animations but it definitely didn't cause a CTD or anything

Absolutely terrific job! But I presume that this is not compatible with the reloading animations mod right?

@Rincewind322 : if it is an animation mod that alters the same units then yes - but it should not be gamebreaking - the higher priority mod would "win" :steamthumbsup:
