Description
The Quartermaster is a Core6 Heavy Carrier and Mobile Base of Operations, made for Reforged Eden 2.

THIS SHIP REQUIRES NO KITS, NO XENO, AND NO ADVANCED PARTS.

The Quartermaster is a marriage of lightweight design, Extreme Lift and Towage, & minimalist redundancy. The ship Features a full 9 Constructors, including 5 small, 3 advanced, 1 Universal, as well as a De-constructor, making it a full factory production vessel.

As both a Carrier, and Mobile miner ( Either Laser drills, or Tool turret ), The Quartermaster takes the term 'utility vehicle' to its natural extreme, this is not just ship to store and move your stuff around, this ship can also be used as a primary vessel for exploring, mining, and even setting down on planets. With solid shield strength and optional multi-redundant generator placements, this ship can be outfitted for operations in hostile space, if desired. The ship has 4x Standard Gatlings w/ sweeping top and bottom fields of view, as well as a full suite of 24 Sentry turrets, The Quartermaster makes scrap of attacking drones.

Onboard Teleporter, Food processor, Full medical Bay, Expansive Lounge, Bar and Dance floor all make this ship not just an invaluable utility vehicle, but a true Home among the Stars. The ship even features a full 6 Hydrobay slots, for all of your medical and food production needs.

The Quartermaster has over 3 Million Storage volume, spread among 4 x 640ks, and 2 x 320ks, you will never want for storage on this ship. & with over 10Gs of Lift, and 10G's of towage, it will push its cargo, multiple Warships, and all of the Svs and HVs you desire, at top speed. The Quartermaster is also built for the addition of 2x extra Forward Ion Drives, so no complex parts are needed to upgrade this vehicles towing capacity.

Want to mine on a Midnight Planet? Empty the gold lakes of A Metallic Moon? No problem, The Quartermaster is the only Heavy Carrier with 10Gs of Lift, making it able to drop down onto any High-G planet and release your workhorse HV/SVs for service.

The Quartermaster requires no complex parts, and no kits, it comes in cheaply as a Core6 w/ onboard Tool/drill turret, and excess power generation. She has all 8 Standard Turbines, for Negative power usage w/ thrusters off, and relatively lower usage even when flying through space. She is slotted w/ Bays for all 4 Advanced turbines, which take the Quartermaster to a Negative-power ship even when in flight, with shields/detector ON. This is an exceedingly light, efficient, but expansive Mega-carrier and Base.

I loaded 2 cv-s 1 mini wood harvester 1 size 2 fighting sv 1 mining warping miner sv .
with added 4 advanced plasma generators my consummation on idle -5700 KW. When on move my speed in space 95km/s. More than good for me atm. This is fifth your VC i build. My Arcadian, Starcadian and Sabaton fully fitted sitting on UCHA ship at Starting System. Didn't fly yet Arcadian. You killing me with your ships. Man with Rigor took me just bit over 5 min to start salvaging Malrik Zirax carrier. I know that is just flying box for this ship but that was fun infector and decimator cost me just loosing front blocks ah yes include there that Legacy mining facility.
Love the ships. Waiting your high tech Mining CV ( i hope) because you do not look like someone interested in grinding. If this game is not so much grind intensive specially this last edition and some work on mechanics of game is done i will ply PvP . Any way and any how thank You for pleasure flying your ships. I build one. Loaded Rigor on deck including Krill Ore Decimater (CV frpm R1 i just removed core and extenders recycle them and build R2 equivalent. ) Had spare 1 Quantum and 1 Aux core so that allowed me to implant 4 advanced plasma generators, teleport 2 large advanced shield capacitors 2 medium advanced chargers replace standard with advanced shield generator.
Replace large adv. power generator with small fusion core so have decent shield capacity just few hundreds over 70K and pretty nice time on recharge. Fusion i fit in compartment where you suggest to fit redundant generators. My question to you do i put 1 standard large generator on place where was advanced l guess as decoy. I do not intent go in fight with this ship. Gona move
tp Legacy space and drone land. Still have CPU for 3-4 more turrets. Gained extra cpu replacing
" drives with 2 antimatter advanced (2-4-2) temporarily. gained some extra force with less cpu.

Very much reminds me of the Maelstrom for RE1. I used that thing for just about everything once I got it. Is this based off that by chance?

Guess I don't need to design my own carrier for my RE2 playthrough after all! I never liked how needlessly massive many of the RE1 carriers were, and since most of the RE1 carriers need a big re-thinking for RE2, I'm glad to see you've developed a no-nonsense RE2-optimized carrier in your usual style.

NO KITS, NO XENO, AND NO ADVANCED PARTS , was starting to think game over if i bon build a carboad box my self , all poi lockout no more no man land. I think this may save the game :)
