Description
Mod: Rhyniognatha Tweek.
ID: 3301814995.

This mod add a few tweeks to implement Rhynio in many ways. Check below what we have here:

Main Informations:

Ini Settings:

[RhynioTweeks]
AllowWildRhynioRemap=True
AllowVanillaRhynioImpregnationBuffRemap=False
OffspringInheritStatsMode=0
OffspringInheritHigherStatsOnly=0.550000
AllowFemaleOffspring=False
AllowTamedRhynioImpregnate=False
AllowRhynioPreNerfSpeed=False
AllowSimpleCraving=False
CravingMultiplier=1.000000

Ini Informations:

- AllowWildRhynioRemap: Default=True. This option fully replaces the vanilla wild Rhynio to the modded one. Tamed Rhynio and in the Impregnation will still be totally vanilla. This modded Rhynio will contain the Modded Impregnation Buff, with lots of new implementations. To disable this setting, just set it to False, and in-game run a DestroyWildDinos command to reset the spawns.

- AllowVanillaRhynioImpregnationBuffRemap: Default=False. This option basically apply the Modded Impregnation Buff to the vanilla wild Rhynio. It is an alternative to the AllowWildRhynioRemap ini. Setting True will enable this.

- OffspringInheritStatsMode: Default=0. This option change how the baby Rhynio will inherit its stats, when set to 0 it will inherit the stats from both the Rhynio Mother and the Host. When set to 1, the baby Rhynio will only inherit its stats from the Mother Rhynio. When set to 2, it will only inherit its stats from the Host. Any value higher than 2 or below 0 will return to the default system.

- OffspringInheritHigherStatsOnly: Default=0.55. This option only works with OffspringInheritStatsMode set to default. This option will change the chance the Rhynio Baby inherit the higher stats between the Host and the Mother. 1.0 is equivalent to 100% and 0.0 is 0%.

- AllowFemaleOffspring: Default=False. This option allow the baby Rhynio have a chance to spawn female, as the vanilla tamed Rhynio will always be male. Setting True will enable this.

- AllowTamedRhynioImpregnate: Default=False. To this option works, the ini AllowFemaleOffspring must be True. This option will basically allow female Tamed Rhynio Impregnate your own tamed dinos. Setting True will enable this. More infos below and in the video at the mod page.

- AllowRhynioPreNerfSpeed: Default=False. This option will basically revert the nerf in the Rhynio speed. To enable this, set it to True.

- AllowSimpleCraving: Default=False. This option will change the Craving Food List to a easier one to obtain. To enable, must be set to True. More info below.

- CravingMultiplier: Default=1.0. This option will increase the Craving % added in each Craving. The Default (at 1.0) will increase the Craving to 20%, so basically increasing this option to 5.0 will make a single Craving set to 100%.

How the Tamed Impregnation works:

Here are the requirements to use the Tamed Impregnation and some other infos about it:

- First of all, the ini AllowFemaleOffspring must be set to True, so the player may tame a Female Rhynio, as this system will only works with Female Tamed Rhynios.
- Select one of your own tamed dinos to be the Host and apply the Pheromore to it.
- In a Tamed, Adult, Female Rhynio (will not work with dead or tranquilized ones), make sure she is close to the choosen Host Dino, open her Radial Menu, select the "Impregnate..." option and select your dino as the Host. After this, she will perform the animation and Impregnate your Dino. The impregnation will work similar to the vanilla, and just to be sure, the impregnated dino will die after the baby Rhynio birth.
- After the Female Tamed Rhynio impregnate the Host, a cooldown will start until that Rhynio can impregnate a dino again. This cooldown is affected by the MatingIntervalMultiplier option.
- For a better guide, check the video in the Mod Gallery.

Simple Craving Informations:

Enabling the ini AllowSimpleCraving to True will change the Craving Food list to a new and easier one. Below are all the new Craving Foods:

- Raw Meat;
- Raw Prime Meat;
- Cooked Meat;
- Cooked Prime Meat;
- Prime Meat Jerky;
- Cooked Meat Jerky;
- Spoiled Meat;
- Raw Mutton;
- Cooked Lamb Chop;
- Raw Fish Meat;
- Raw Prime Fish Meat;
- Cooked Fish Meat;
- Cooked Prime Fish Meat;
- Any of the vanilla Berries;
- Any of the vanilla Crops.

Other Informations:

@Nuclear Nadan Yeap. I too don't like some of those mechanics, this Egg Quality is based on the Mother wild level, the closer to max level it is, the better. But find a high level creature in The Island is super annoying, and find a high level one from a super rare one is even worse. To tell the truth, I never tamed them in The Island, I just go to Lost Island where high level creatures spawns easier, trap a high level Rhynio in there and impregnate 3-5 creatures directly, as a wild Rhynio can impregnate again every 2 minutes.

@Izanagi Since my comment I did more digging. And infact the mod works for me as it should. I did not take to account the "Egg Quality" which reduces the baby's final points if the mother is not max level. I assume if I get a female that's at least wild max level. It will finally do the trick.
Once again, thanks for the mod. It's brilliant :)

@Nuclear Nadan The OffspringInheritStatsMode ini must be set as 0 to inherit stats from both parents, this way it can inherit the stats from the host or the mother. 1 will inherit from only the the mother, and 2 will inherit stays only from the host. Also, if you set OffspringInheritStatsMode to 0, and set OffspringInheritHigherStatsOnly to 1.0, then the Offspring will always inherit the higher stats between mother and host. The OffspringInheritHigherStatsOnly only change the chance to inherit the higher stats, with 0.00 set to 0% and 1.00 set to 100%. There is not any way to get the avarege stats between them using my inis.

Hi. I'm using the mod. Love it. The simple cravings and the female offspring is amazing. But I don't seem to be able to set what stats they inherit. If the mother had HP 22 points and the host had HP 53 (no mutation) the baby would get something in between, like 37. But same parents next time will result in 33 points or 44. Completely random, no matter what settings I try.

@The Nameless Nop. Its usefulness is another stuff, like the slowdown and stonification effects. Not to mention its fixed damage is quite good, 300 fixed damage is quite an amount. If you want super overpowered almighty creatures, then use mods like Primal Chaos, or just use Wyverns, they are Ark's flying fighters, Rhynio is the jack of all trades.

So when my Rhynio's ranged attacks become largely irrelevant because they're at a fixed damage level and only its meelee attacks are useful, that's NOT broken?
Izanagi  [author] 22 Apr @ 9:33am
@The Nameless Don't want. Instead of wasting time with those stuff, I choose to create new stuff or fix whatever is broken.
The Nameless 22 Apr @ 8:49am
Ouch. Any particular reason, or you just don't want to?
Izanagi  [author] 21 Apr @ 11:40pm
@The Nameless Won't happen.

This is already pretty awesome, just for letting me experience the pre-nerf speed, but you know what would be even better?

If there was an option that had the resin attack damage scale with meelee damage!
